  • You can also just buy it already made, a good brand called Ligion.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your henna recipe and cone directions. I have been trying for years to get the local ladies to share how to do it and they act like it's some BIG secret. Very kind of you to share. Thank you very much.

  • ***Thank you*** for sharing! My daughter and I are looking into henna for the first time and all of your videos were very helpful! I will post a video once we get our supplies together!

  • you went to fast i cant really get a good idea on how to cut the applicator or roll it the right way

  • cut it into a triangle and roll it...make sure the tip ends up on the straight side

  • could u use aluminum foil or sumthin instead of mylar?

  • its more difficult and since there's a lot of acidic ingredients in henna i wouldn't put that with aluminum and then on ur skin

  • @crycrycry16 oh well is there anythinq elese u could use instead of mylar??

  • celophane

  • @babyheartsss Cellopaper/cellophane (like florists use to wrap the bases of bouquets), which can be found in a craft store, or those foil helium balloons cut up into the proper shape, or chip bags cut and rolled into cones if you wash them first.

  • @babyheartsss I suggest you dont use foil!! i tried that and i did nto come out rite sooo No

  • @babyheartsss a jac bottle

  • @babyheartsss no coz the foil can rip

  • @babyheartsss No. Aluminum is too brittle to use. It has to be either mylar or celo paper.

  • @babyheartsss you can use cellopane or even a plastic wallet. i prefer using a plastic wallet :))

  • i noe me n' my mom tried 2 do it but i dont get it

  • i suggest looking at other peoples tutorial vids cause she does it really fast and in a way that is hard to copy if you have never done it before

  • i love how random people on youtube critique a certified henna artist, like she has no clue how to do it. that and the fact that people that correct a professional, are watching toutorial videos.

  • I'm finding this amusing as well....

I will admit that I was verrrrry nervous in the filming of this, and it was all done in just one take (except for very few exceptions when something was physically wrong with the shot and the producers asked me to re-do something)... So could it have been better? Sure. Is it still a decent how-to for people who haven't done henna before? I'd dare to say so...

  • @skiddlecrumms Everyone is free to critique because everyone has another way of doing things. Maybe they even have easier ways to do things and are suggesting these things to others. There is no right or wrong in henna, just learning from your mistakes and doing what works best for you, and sharing your knowledge with others to lessen their trials.

  • That paste is waaay to thick and lumpy, she should have sifted the henna before adding FAKE lemon juice which will make the henna even lumpier, use natural ingredients to get a better color. and add sugar too.

  • looks like crap in plastic :D but it's interesting and I really like henna tattoos

  • do u know where i could buy the plastic?

  • online or go to a gift wrapping place and ask for cellophane of cellophane wraper or what ever they call it

  • its the plastic used for wrapping flowers so u could go to a flower shop or just buy the ready made tubes

  • I now someone who just uses a poly pocket cut up, it does the job fine.

  • wow! ur gud :) and thnx for this video and the other videos before this one ;)
