It does if your computer isn't powerful enough or you are using too large resolution etc. But if you have decent graphic setting and good FPS you should be able to play it smoothly...
@Thundermand FRAPS always has an impact. I have noticed that it is more fluid if the game you are recording is on a different hard drive than video is being recorded to... Basically my games are on my G: drive and I record to my C: drive.
I am a pro at this game i can drive any track no matter how hard or complicated

Not nice times at all. You should also try to turn off motion-blur in the configuration options for trackmania

also your in-game resolution should be set to the same as your FRAPS recording resolution.

For example by using Fraps.

Hey... Do you still have the same specs???
Intel E2160 @ 2,7GHz
Leadtek 9600GT 512MB
Abit IP35-E
Buffalo 2x2GB 800MHz
Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
I'm asking because I'm thinking about buying the 9600GT... Oh and what do you think about it? Is it good?
henrysmfilms 2 years ago
Yes, I still have the same computer. 9600GT is ok but there are better gpu's available like HD 4850.
Thundermand 2 years ago
Cool... I know that there are better ones, but the 4850 is a bit too expensive (I can buy it but I need to buy RAM, Motherboard and processor too)
henrysmfilms 2 years ago
In that case the 9600GT could be good for you :)

Ok thanks :D
