a while back he left the impact zone without his mask on, he took it off just before the tube to go backstage and went to rehab for his destructive behaviour and ever since he hasn't used weapons or anything cause the therapist has taught him weapons aren't good, Abyss then became best friends with Matt Morgan but they fell out after losing multiple matches for the tag titles and then Abyss had a matchagainst Matt at AAO and used weapons like the old (and better) Abyss
