1: The dead councill makes more more tension between the races, thus starting an arms-race.

If you let the councill die in ME1, you hear that the Turians no longer feel bound by the Treaty of Farixen that would normally prevent them building more that a certain amount of Dreadnoughts.

More Dreadnoughts is not a bad thing in case of Reaper-invasion.

I have Garrus lead, Legion as technician, Garrus as leader the second time, Mordin escort the squad back to Normandy, Samara use biotic barrier on the swarms. First party pick I have Grunt and Miranda because of powers. I leave everyone to defend except Tali and Kasumi when going after the human-reaper.

Pppl discuss external aspects of a game in order to prolong or extend the 'love' they feel without thinking that these biases are largely determined by their own attachment. In the same way it therefore seems more normal to say Hale is a better voice actress than say what you really mean, which is 'I love it more' or 'I love it right' or 'it loves me more than you' etc.

I made a Shepard, that's a blonde and I have managed to create a good save game for ME3 but Jack died because I wasn't ultimate Paragon and I couldn't earn both of there loyalty but Miranda's loyalty is better so Jack died at the end when everyone was covering the entrance to the boss battle and I lost half the Normandy Crew because I activated Legion after everyone got captured. This is a perfect guide to know what not to do in ME2. Just make sure you do Jacks loyal mission early as possible,

@simongenius1 Personally I don't think it is possible for Blonde Shepard to win against the reapers with that many variables. The best she could hope for is a very empty victory.

She's going to have almost no allies to help her in the battle. And the only squad mates shed have are Vega, Williams, T'soni. She's isolated the asari via killing the council, and Samara, isolated the Krogans by killing Wrex and the cure. And the Rachni are dead. Only the tureens and salaries might help her.

I think the only mistake I ever made in my first playthrough was losing the Normandy crew because I didn't recruit Samara. I regret it because there was no reason for me not to finish it. I hope that doesn't bite me in the ass.....ehh....probably not. Worst case scenario is that I don't have a stripper goldfish feeder therapist and the ship being eerily empty.
