once you reach civilization. it become a RTS, but once you reach space stage you ride in the space ship you design.

Personally I think they fell short on what the demo promised. and the "civilization mode" of the game ends rather fast.. and whatever war you did have in civilization mode is rather dull since they all do the same thing (u only get to design their looks, have little effect on its function) the majority of the game u play in space mode.. you only control 1 ship. so if you looking for RTS its not worth it. but props to spore for being interesting.. for about a week or 2

k thanks man if you are looking for a good RTS yourself I would try any of the Dawn of wars or Men of war (Can only get it off steam) its kinda old but so fun and realistic. Like you can damage the track on a tank or disable its gun. Or like a falling building can kill men inside or near outside and fire spreads through fields.

Bravo. I'm a fan of spore and quite the military enthusiest and I can tell you that you put a lot of attention to detail into these. I love the shape of the wings on the Joint strike fighter(f35) also you should do a fletcher class destroyer.
