These shows did not happen every night in a theatre they were made by ITV in a theatre for TV.
So all the changes of costumes were always long and just edited down.
They were never designed to be quick changes. and never happened quickly. No trap doors were used, they just walk on and stand in place but that bit is cut out.
i know the dress now. her rags were long instead of short like in all the rest so she must of just whipped off the rags to reveal a ballroom dress then clipped on her hair because it is clip on
@DDuncanLovesEasties Yeah. It's like a velcro sleeve that's attached to the dress. If you look closely on her left shoulder at that white line at the end of the dress, you'll notice it's velcro :)
Weird because on TV they probably skipped some parts to give her time to get the dress on but don't know how it would've worked in the panto. Probably had smoke on for a bit and then did it quickly. Same with the horse and the mice-men.
@SJMJ91 yeh but if they did that it would not get that amount of applause. they must have trapdoors. has anyone else noticed that in the pantos, before they disappear they go to the same place as they appeared? that must be how they did the men, but not the horse. the carriage was pushed on in the smoke
Question? When he took the purse, did one of the kids yell "Spider man on crack?"
