Some people consider them punk, others metal and other bluesrock. they just play what they felt sounded cool withought thinking "oh lets play punk" or no we are a "metal band"...

I label them a rock n roll band for one reason...its obvious they play rock n' roll. oh also to be mentioned...i cant count how many times i read or watched axl or slash label themselves as a rock n' roll band. trust me i think i used to be the biggest fan. now did they play other types of music of course...but they were R&R at heart.
