James Burton always nails the solo dead on....doesn't overplay and knows just how far to take it without going over the top and messing up. The sign of a true pro.
OMG! Here they are together! The great James Burton, and Little Stevie Housden. MAN...the greatest guitar solo ever was played by Little Stevie in Reminiscing. This took place in a concert in auzzie, and Stevie played the horn parts on his guitar. Was it GOOD? It was Bloody GOOD! Am I the only one who remembers?
James Burton fans are expecting him in Tokyo early June this year. KoJi (Suzuki), a Japanese singer, is looking forward to seeing him and getting together on the stage again soon.
25 mei 2010 kun je James Burton in levende lijve zien en horen in het Paard van Troje te Den Haag!!

I was first blown away by James Burton when I was about 12 years old or so -- it was the Hello Mary Lou solo back in 1961.
He remains a spectacular exemplar of the Fender® Telecaster®.
