I would be a lot more pro capital punishment if there was something good that came from it. Like if we harvested the organs of murderers and used them to save people. I feel like when you commit an atrocious crime you forfeit your human rights. I also feel like a quick death is more humane than keeping someone locked in a cage for the rest of their lives.
side question, how much of this book is autobiographical and will the simon and garfunkle neighbors be making and appearance?
@chibisven None of the actual plot is autobiographical. Obviously, I'm drawing from life a little, since there's really no way to avoid that when you're writing about somewhere you've lived. And a few small details, like the Simon and Garfunkle neighbors. But, yeah, nothing of the primary plot is autobiographical.
I liked it. It sounds like it'll be a fun novel when you're done. I'm going to have to rerecord my reading, but I will get it up, hopefully before November ends...
And you described my thoughts on corporal punishment pretty much exactly as I would've. I'm on both sides, and neither, at the same time.
oh snap, I wrote that last one before you got to the simon and garfunkle part. I called it, go me, I'm great!
