i guess it's a camera of a cellphone, considering the hard contrast (no light vs spotlight) picture is actually pretty good.

Anyway, there are some lessons for this song on youtube, some of em pretty convincing and close to eddie's sound.

Afaik this is called travis picking and i guess eddie sticks to the basics of it, so you can go from there and use it with tabs.

As far as i can tell from this video i am pretty sure he is using every finger but his pinky, so 3 would be the answer imho.
