For a simple CHP installation just take some soft copper tubing and bend it into a spiral. Place it in the water barrel and attach a old circulating pump and a old radiator between the begin and the end of the spiral. You have to find out how many radiators you can use before the barrel gets to cold, Your engine needs some heat from the cooling water! Remember...a diesel likes to run hot!

That's never running at 600rpm, more like about 200. It sounds fab, though.
