I'm pretty sure a person "leaning to being an anarchist" would not BE a politician. His record indicates he is NOT anti-tax, he is NOT anti intervention, he is NOT anti war.
He has always preached the merits of government, albeit some pro-individual version that does not exist, and he is a huge distraction for people that might otherwise be working to solve the problem.

He is for unlimited individual secession, Non-intervention in the markets as well as foreign policy, and yes he is anti war meaning self defense. How is he a huge distraction when he is the only guy in Washington trying to expose the corruption? Especially with the Fed... Lew Rockwell even supports him, because he knows that Ron Paul would not force people to be apart of his system. It wouldn't be a State anymore, because people can leave.
