  • Is this in the Somme in Picardie where thousands were transported to the front line trenches??

  • It would be fun if they preserved one of those railways in the trenches and gave rides! It wouldn't be too scenic, looking at nothing but mud walls, the dump cars they used would not be too comfortable to sit in and the smoke problem would be terrible. But fun nonetheless! Thanx fur sharin'! 5 thumbs up!

  • there is more than one of these still in existance in france, this is however the only working example though, the sister loco to this is in the museum at Pithiviers restored for static display sadly, mind yoiu theres always Mountaineer on the Ffestiniog, the line is the last surviving stub of a system of some 50 miles in length all to serve sugar beet fields planted after the first world war.

  • Woo haah!! Beautiful engine indeed!Didn't know these still existed.Awesome-a 60cm ALCO,and outside frame no less! This is the locomotive and the pax cars that should've been at MJs Neverland Ranch!!

  • Is this the original train route - along a trench - or the rails have now been laid somewhere else?

  • Congratulations! Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing it!

  • Theres a similar loco on the Ffestiniog Railway in Wales although not in working order at the moment...

  • Reminds me of Fearless Freddie...XD

  • Where is this engine located?
