  • Man if you don't think this video ain't then you fucked up. This shit works on your quickness and power, just look at the greats they all have these tools.

  • the tennis ball exercise if it doesnt work you have to go out further. a 6 foot tall person is usually quicker than some one 6'7" (paul pierce). i tried this one and i was come on thats simple. so i had my friend step further back. usually between 3 point and free throw

  • who the other guy with pierce

  • you guys are retarded for saying that this doesn't make you a better athlete, it strengthens the connection between the brain and body. And lifting weights on their lvl works out fast twitch muscle fibers which lets them be explosive. Idk why people are mentioning Larry Bird in this as well, he was great at the game, but these workouts are the reason we see more people dunking off crossovers running twenty miles per hour with the ball

  • Steve Hess and this asian guy are the best physical trainer in the nba

  • you ain't gotta do all that stupid shit they doing just ball lift weights and eat right they doing yoga ball shit fuck that

  • @dhughzy Agreed

  • @dhughzy what a bad reply...dear people,. do not listen to this idiot.

  • @dhughzy Or you're a complete retard who's a pretentious moron and dilutes himself by thinking he's cool by saying all these obscenities. Disregard that, these drills/training stuff works on explosiveness.

  • @SeaNannersMother I'm sorry to tell you that you don't have to do stability ball training / medicine ball training you should work on plyometrics but you don't have to have these items just weights I just don't see how you can think throwing a ball behind your head is more explsive then doing a power clean or better

  • @SeaNannersMother m aybe some of the drills with the weight sled the tennis ball exercise was weak to me

  • @dhughzy Maybe these guys are PROS who know what they;re doing better than any of us white noobs around here

  • @SeaNannersMother you think 100% of all NBA players ever from any era did this training? I bet Jordan ,Bird,Magic,Stockton,Malone,Pistol Pete never did crap like this. the only training they did outside of basketball practice was lifting weights, other then that it was scrimmaging, playing or practice. Tennis balls and yoga...get the fuc outta here with that shit.

  • @glocsta707 You have got to be the most generic dumbass ever. Exactly. your key word was "era". This is a different era. You need to be more explosive, fast and athletic. Bird, stockton, pete, malone and jordan wouldn't do nearly as well except for maybe jordan in this era, because basketball is alot more run n gun now. get your head outta that losse asshole of yours.

  • @SeaNannersMother I like how you diss Jordan then you realize how much of a screw up you are and you immediately take it back. Jordan,Stockton,Malone each made all star teams in 3 different decades 80's 90's 2000's. im not sure why you think Stockton or Malone would not survive today or Jordan like you said when Paul Pierce is clearly not the better athlete then all 3 of those legends. You have balls disrespecting Bird and Pistol.Your momma had a loose asshole, just so you know.

  • @SeaNannersMother Yea Dirk Nowitzki is real explosive LOL. He is a MVP(2007) and world champion,Finals MVP and he is very similar to Bird as far as playing style and physique.Bird was better tho. Bird didn't bitch to the refs and he played through injuries and was a far better passer. No disrespect to Dirk but these are all true. Both score a lot and grab about the same rebounds. Both are deadly from the foul line.Paul Pierce was not good enough for the Dream Team but Bird was.

  • Your obviously a dumb ass, just shut up.

  • @TheCelticsFan2012 I compliment Larry Bird and this is how you treat me. Fuc off you WANNABE Celtics fan.

  • @dhughzy wtf are you talkin bout

  • @dhughzy if you spend your day talking to someone who's got nothing going on for them what kind of information can they give you? paul pierce is a pro basketball player he didnt get to be a championship contender from just doing the simple stuff you have to do the hard stuff to play well

  • @eyeofthetiger444 being real I've seen playhers who haven't any used plyometrics or any weight training but weight training is good but I've seen players not do any of this players doing windmill dunks in high school don't be using this though I cn understand the use of alot of this but you don't need to do it

  • @eyeofthetiger444 Paul Pierce isn't in the best shape he's skinny but I mean saying he's in real great shape when he be soft in the body sometimes is out of hand I can do all the stuff he can do but I can't dunk as good as him I'm 6 foot though :/ but forreal NBA players really just got lucky seriously have you seen all the street ballers that haven't made it to the NBA even regular local people are nice nowadays

  • @dhughzy i consider myself to be one of those street ballers haha. id like to take it further though so i do all of these exercises. and others obviously not just these ones. i cant stand when im doing pre stretches and everyones going man fuck stretchin i dont stretch and im like yeah and i shit on you. if i dont do the tough workouts i play just average. so i say do the embarrassing exercises and fuck what everyone thinks of it

  • @dhughzy "i can do all the stuff he can do..."' PLEASE tell me that was a joke. what stuff do you mean? winning a finals mvp or scoring over 20,000 points in the nba? basketball-wise, you cant do ANYTHING as well as pierce. nba players got lucky? they work like crazy to be that good. you can take the best local player you know and match him up with somebody like brian scalabrine and scal would wipe the floor with him.

  • @pkil232 "you can take the best local player you know and match him up with somebody like brian scalabrine and scal would wipe the floor with him." that is the most idiotic thing i have read to date.there are many guys in prison that could easily be in the league but they made some wrong choices that landed them in the pen.Ron Artest even said that the best player he faced was some guy from his hood. Michael Jordan claims his older brother to be a very difficult opponent.

  • ain't no way in hell Brian Scalabrine is going to kill any streetballer I mean he's slow he doesn't do anything out of the norm I mean some players aren't good in the NBA but like in college but @pkil232 you're giving him way to much benefit of the doubt. I've seen dudes dunk on him cross him. I did take it to far with the paaul pierce thing but I can do all his moves just not dunk like him. Everybody should know not all the best players go to the NBA....

  • @glocsta707 how exactly do you know theyd beat scal? jimmer fredette used to go to prisons to play the inmates and drop 40 on them as a high schooler. scal is on a championship level team, you honestly think theyd give him a roster spot if they could find someone better down the street, a person they could sign for far less money with more talent? doubtful. artest has a well-documented history of saying absurd things and if mj's brother was good enough, why wouldnt he try out?

  • @pkil232 True about what you say of Artest but that does not mean we can dismiss every single thing the guy says.Steve Smith was on NBA TV just last week talking about some guy he played ball with bac in college or high school that he claims was far more skilled then he was. There are a lot of people good enough to play pro ball but maybe that's not their ambition in life. You would need to ask MJ's brother why he did not go pro and not me.as for Jimmer Freddete LMFAO.

  • @glocsta707 hahahah basketball wasnt their ambition in life, yet they practiced enough to be as good as the best in the world? that's not adding up. nobody puts in that much work into a hobby. steve smith talking about some guy he knows doesnt mean smith thinks that guy can play in the nba. by the way, you could pick the best local player around you and jimmer would SMOKE him. guy was dropping 50 in college. you dont know ANYONE that good.

  • @pkil232 there are a lot of games other then basketball that i could whoop your ass at but just cuz i am good at those games does not mean i want make that my occupation.if steve smith says the guy the was better then him then that does mean the guy was good enough for the league since smith played in the league and was a good player.LMFAO @ Freddete

  • @glocsta707 yeah but theres a difference between beating someone and being good enough to play with the best people on the planet. please enlighten me with some reasons as to why someone who has clearly been practicing so hard at something for so long would not want to do that as an occupation, especially when it offers such a lavish lifestyle. a person like that clearly loves basketball, so why would they choose to not play it for a lot of money?

  • @pkil232 maybe they got other things they care about more then playing basketball, even for money. its all about caring.some people do and some don't. LMFAO @ "lavish lifestyle"

  • @glocsta707 if there are other things they care about more than basketball, they wouldnt be as good as nba players you fucking idiot. to be good enough to play in the nba you have to commit your entire life to basketball. and what makes you "laugh your fucking ass off"' at the phrase "lavish lifestyle?"

  • @pkil232 NBA players did get lucky they stayed in college they worked out and they were found I work hard as hell I mean come on I've seen countless numbers of neighborhood people dunk with the same skills what about Kwame Brown he gone beat any player too what about Luke Walton, etc

  • @dhughzy so these guys are good enough to make it in the nba but for some reason they dont? i think most local players would take that shot, and if they were good enough theyd get a contract. clearly, they arent. scalabrine is obviously better than anyone the bulls had try out this past summer, or else he'd be cut. if all these street legends are out there, how come nba scouts havent found them?

  • I guarantee that Larry Bird did not live in the gym like these guys do nowadays and he was still better then them all.Bird lived out on the court shooting and practicing not in the gym getting buff or out getting tattoos and that's why he is the greatest Celtic ever and NBA legend.

  • @glocsta707 if larry bird got fouled going down the lane for a layup in todays game, hed go down in a second. lebron or kobe on the other hand would have a serious shot at the and1 cause of their body strength and ability to take the hit and finish. thats just one example why strength training in important for the nba. post moves and post defense is another reason to hit the weights

  • @magic131 Larry Bird played in probably the roughest toughest era of the NBA being the 80's. He won multiple MVP's and rings and if he did get hard fouled then guess what he did. Go to the line and swish 2 free throws or in today's rules 3 from behind the arc.Bird played against the Bad Boy Pistons and survived,in today's era the Bad Boy pistons would get technical fouls just for stepping on the court. Bird played when you could swing a fist at another guy and MAYBE you might get ejected.

  • @magic131 On top of that as far as Kobe and Lebron LOL. Bird was way tougher then either of them. Bird never bitched to the refs for every little thing and he did not make excuses. I seen Bird slam his face on the court going for the loose ball against the Pacers.Got up walked his ass off the court bleeding with a concussion and then come back a little bit later in the game and help Boston win the game. These are facts.Your welcome.

  • @glocsta707 lol im not arguing that birds not a legend...im just saying its definitely beneficial for players to get strength training on top of practicing their game. and the rules have changed so much under david stern, its not the players fault. the officiating has drastically changed otherwise the nba would be just as tough today as it was back in the day.

  • @magic131 I hear you on that. I agree that strength training is good but the time put into it should not overlap the time with the basketball in your hand or running basketball related drills. I guess seeing yoga balls and chasing tennis balls really struck a nerve.

  • his voice is funny

  • lol "Watch my hand" "GO!" and he really goes.

  • I aint gonna lie.. I'd love to have personal trainers tellin me what I gotta do, hey drag these wheels, catch this tennisball, run here, do this... that makes shit a lot easier

  • the other guy is jr giddens

  • Get your wait up to all laker bandwagoners....mike

  • Lol. Who's the other guy?

  • @Alexwkj maybe gabe purrite

  • "them is inflated"

  • Lmfao...paul pierce has an old mans body. He is a sad excuse for a sg....dudes form and just overall game is ugly as shit a man crippled by arthritis...dude is only good for making whiney faces like he's getting fucked in the ass by nasty nate after he doesnt get a call. And occassionally making a crucial shot...one.word for paul pierce EXPENDABLE. Lmao

  • @KillaMike520

lets see u score 50 points on Lebron james and Kobe Bryant u little shit

and if his EXPENDABLE like u said... how come the celts (who are one of the best teams in NBA history) keeps him for 13 years ??

  • @KillaMike520 except that he plays SF now...

  • @KillaMike520 dude wtf is wrong with u u have no basketball knowledge pierce's game is so classy n flawless plzzz stfu

  • i meant Paul Pierce sorry

  • Pul Pierce = Dominator, Basket Icon

  • its not GOD given. there are lots of tall people who never make it to the NBA. It takes hard work. Then you even have players who make it to the nba and are only there for a couple seasons. hell even mcgrady was a beast but he didnt work on his game. u can have 50 mil and be a hall of fame nba player or u can have 2 million and be sitting on your ass. if you pick the sitting on your ass then you and your kids wont ever be shit.

  • Go! Lmao

  • who are the 2 other players with him? is that the two rookies they got this season?

  • @kupzilog08 This was posted on 2008, one of them is JR Giddens and I think the other is Antoine Walker.

  • paul pierce has a body like pudding in a plastic bag lol..but yea i know hes in shape he preforms in the nba at all-star level

  • hahahaha 1:44

  • This must be a long time ago, because paul has one of the worst bodies in the NBA!

  • @nateplaya88 paul pierce is the one with the green celtics shirt, he didn't show his body

  • @mathiehesse

I know that!!! but in nba games his body looks horrible and out of shape!!

  • guys does anyone know what does the first exercise in this video help for?

  • @paraskevas15 The first excercise is for explosiveness in your lateral steps for defense and for foot quickness.

  • @13089801 i dont i work my ass off almost everyday and im only 13

  • @jake74698 me to see u in the nba after 8 years or something

  • paul bends down n hes the asian guys height...the fuk...

  • Haha Paul singing Gold Digga b Kanye West at the end. Gotta love da Celtics ! !

  • that all looks like fun ha

  • are they trying to walk like crabs? theyre doing really well

  • JR Giddens is hella funny

  • BLACK MAMBA KOBE IS THE BEST ! go LAKERS

  • BTW..paul pierce is not fat...how can u say thats fat....retard....

  • Those of you who think this isnt training...wow ...this kind of training is the best

  • Skinny ass legs!

  • this aint training.

  • so that was the job of the asian guy haha!

  • @MSPointsRewards1 He's a beast.

    i train with him.

He was on the US ultimate frisbee team.

  • There should be more clips like this. Kids often think that NBA players are God given athlets and you can't compete with that. Talent is what, 10%? As you can see, they work hard, real hard for highlight in a Play of the day.

  • @13089801 ye i kno eh,and everyone thinks that oh hes only 20 n hes making millions dollar it aint fair and all that, but they dont realize how hard they work to get all that money but of course some are overpaid haha

  • @13089801 it might be a little more then 10%

  • @13089801 thats really true they work really hard but i mean they sure are god given too. look how big they are... and that guy with his shirt off can do that break dancing get up move being that dam big

  • @13089801 I agree with everything EXCEPT the ten percent part because in a way it is god given talent but they have to put the work in to get the most out of the god given talents that they are blessed with, but your right they have to go through a lot of hard workouts.

  • @13089801 hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard...

  • paul is good but so fuckin lazy. he dosnt take anything seriously it looks like

  • Is that Bobby Lee?

  • @arasta321 Bryan doo

  • lmao @ tire-pulling xD

  • LOL i always thought that asain dude was the waterboy but now i found out that he was the trainer lol

  • when is he going to do the wheel chair sprints

  • lmfao this workout is a joke..that dude did the hbk knip up 1:45 lmfao...pierce is mad jkes..laughing and shit talking junk.. lmao great vid

  • @McSpitfire haha he's too gangsta

  • That's right he has no muscle and he looks so lazy

  • Yeah, he's a natural talent.

  • @McSpitfire how dare u blaspheme.

  • these nba workouts are so much more chill than nfl workouts

  • @KillaBeastCali...Yea this one is...but if you look at a player who actually works/worked hard like kobe, michael jordan, or someone like larry bird you would probably see different...this workout is a joke though they barely do anything

  • Some body smokes too much.

  • I'm totally going to show my coach this

  • i see that trainer on tv more than that other player

  • if i remember also kobe was i think going for a steal and hit his pooor lil pinky and started crying about it but then two min later he came back and dropped thirty something so kobe must be a fake also

  • lakers are fake. paid for referees for 27fouls on shaq, hi western conference finals vs sacramento

  • it look's easy but it's damn hard ...

  • man paul pierce seems so FUNNY!

  • lol this seems easy well only to some people maybe it just looks easy but is not lolz

  • I have heard nothing but great things about Brian and his work with the team. Keep it up B

  • they spend so much time just standing around.

  • @businessbmw

Its funny he is still a threatening player, even though it looks like the Celtics just picked some fat guy in the stands.

  • @Sweetm386 are you talking about brian scalabrinie? hahahahha just kidding

  • lol how come he doesnt move that fast in the games

  • c'mon rooks, lets go haha

  • oh dang!

    thats bill walker too.

    lol

  • is that J.R. Giddens!?

    haha. it is!

he worked out with paul pierce, thats tight.
