You did a great job! One thing though, I have done the same effect and I found some nice green screen stock footage of a throwing knife ( look that up) I then downloaded it (via zamzar.com, which I also suggest checking out) and it was great! Keep making effects!!

haha when he throws the knife stare at the hand , you may have to repeat it a couple of times but see that the knife is still in his hand .... when the knife leaves his hand it magically floats up to the guys neck... nice try

I want to take 3 guesses as to how you did this:

1.) At the beginning, he's holding a knife, but then when his hand goes out of frame, he drops it/hands it off. Then it's replaced with the CGI knife/picture of a knife when he throws it.

2.) He keeps hold of the knife, but you mask it out after he "throws" it.

3.) He throws the knife, but the video's split-screened and covered by the animated knife/knife picture past the middle of the video.

Please tell me if I'm right on any of these.
