  • 1:30 ~ 1:31 LOL :)

  • the horror...the horror...

  • Classic KROQ!

  • Im 17 and i love this song discovered it by watching girls just want to have fun

  • dancingggggggggggggg in heaven

  • This is a cool, funky, upbeat song. Happy, and positive. Enjoying your life and being happy without the temptation of fame and fortune and all that mess they try to feed us through the mass media.

  • I miss WLIR. But at least we have internet radio. I was listening to an 80's new wave station and heard this song. How is it possible to feel bad listening to this Orbital be bop song. Three minutes of happiness.

  • is the lead singer gay?

  • Puddin'

  • Video is so cheesy but song is mighty infectious! I used to listen to this on WLIR!!

  • I love how you looped the parts with those skanky dancers. Not only are they fuck-ugly but what the hell is is with those traffic cone things? I laugh everytime I see this.

  • Popular in Mexico? That's awesome.

I really wish I was alive during the time this was popular. I'd love to hear it where ever I went.

  • hated it then, love it now!

  • Love this song....Go 80s!

  • This guy (Martin Page) went on to write the #1 hits 'These Dreams - Heart & 'We Built This City' -Starship. Talented Man! 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' is chessy 80's classic fun! =)

  • I still love this song. It makes me feel so.....HAPPY!!!!

  • 5 people dont know how to dance in heaven

  • This song is what it felt like to be a kid growing up in the 80's. Everything was new, wacky, original, outstanding and FUN!!

  • Look at Ray Liotta go!

  • But, What else did this band? I wonder!

  • Oh the 80s. What a lovably strange decade

  • Oh the 80s. What a lovely ent

  • pra mi raza de la fed 2 con carnnio DJTHANO

  • Orbital Be Bop!!!! HAHAHA one of the greatest 80's songs ever!

  • WOOOHOOO this makes me wanna shake my big bootayy!

  • @weirdscience85 Fair enough.

  • Don't know about that stupid "Girls just want to have fun" movie, never heard of it and i don't care... i came here because of Q-Feel and this 80's classic that still sounds new and even newer than some of the crap you hear on radio now adays.

  • @KeMoniito WOW, what planet are you from? LOL Only one of the best chick flicks from the 80s!!!

  • @weirdscience85Ugh! Are you an IDIOT? OBVIOUSLY. I am not saying his voice OR music sounds like Justin Bieber! I am saying when he says the exact line "Orbital Be-Bop" It sounds like he is saying "Oh Bieber Fever!" Like the way that If you say "Good eye might" It sounds like you are saying "Good day mate" with an Aussie accent. Dumb comparison, I know, but I can't think of any better way to explain it to you. You have proven yourself to be an incomprehensible moron and you should just go away.

  • @weirdscience85 Umm being a dick much? Go away and stop trying to act like you're better than everyone else. I think it sounds like "Oh Bieber Fever" because they say it very fast and high. Of course they don't sound the same when you just speak the words. It's not because they're both pop. I'm not even a fan of JB for ONE, and for TWO, how would that eafect my hearing and understanding of words? You just need to get over yourself you pretentious asshole and I'm sure everyone else would agree.

  • @weirdscience that would problem child 2.

  • Slow, slow... quick, quick slow!

  • Liked it in '83. Liked it now.

  • i loved dancing to this song but the singer looks like a real doofus!!!

  • @sheilaboy44 - Martin Page. You can find him online. Look for "In The House of Stone and Light". I couldn't believe it either.

  • Dancing still

  • There can't be many 'failed' UK Eurovision entries that have become as popular as this...the video IS from the 'Song From Europe' competition, although I feel the audio has been dubbed from the studio version of the song. I love this track, and owned the 12" many moons ago...x

  • this is so awesome finding this song, brings back so many memories, long live the 80's! Todays music is SHIT!!!!!!!

  • Q-FEEL is fuckin heavy metal!

  • HE IS SO LIP SINGING BUT I CANT RESIST DANCING TO THIS SONG i came across it on girls just want to have fun (here is one line on that movie) welcome to DANCE t.v

  • @msboogra Oh yeah. This is clearly the studio recorded version, not "live".

  • the whole time he is dancing it just looks like the twitch (l.o.l.) i loved it . it was so 60's . but i always worry about his face or who he is dating because his eyes are so wide like the guy my sister used 2 like and he is all ways rasing his eye brows like quagmire from family :P oh and watch mega kirby dance!!! made by crowned kitty

  • Girls just want to have fun flashback!

  • Lol..i came across this song when my sister was watching ''Girl's Just Want to Have Fun".. This song is so god damn catchy =SSS

  • This song was huge in Mexico. I remember that clubs and home parties played it at least twice at night.

  • Listen to this song in the morning and it'll put a spring in your step for the rest of the day!

  • what does orbital be-bop mean?

  • I FOUND IT NOW I WISH I NEVER SAW IT. COME ON NOW, RADIO PLAY IS MUCH BETTER THEN VIDEO PLAY IN THE 80'S.

  • This video and song is really REALLY very gay.

  • @irenaprude2010 why the fuck wud u listen to the song then dip shit quit bitching and listing to some usher or katy perry dick

  • @danthaboss Fuck you, you little gay bitch.

  • The best memories of my childhood and youth. I've been looking 4 this song 4 years, and now I'm so thrilled that I'm near to cry...God bless u 4 bringing back the time of my life. : ' D

  • They totally need to do a routine to this song on SYTYCD!

  • super mario in the house..

  • "orbidal be-bop" sounds a lot like "oh bieber fever!"

  • This song has got it all. It sums up the 1980s.

  • lead singer reminds me of a ventriloquist's dummy with his odd facial movements

  • this video sucks, it was edited at the middle...

  • between this song and every song on the movie ValleyGirl, I was happiest in the early 80s! Woot!!

  • i have never seen this band perform until now. I loved this song from the 80's KROQ in Los Angeles played this group all the time, this song was one of my favorites to listen to as I walked up and down Santa Monica Blvd Husting

  • The best of new wave. Saludos desde Perú.

  • "slow, slow, quick, quick, slow". Love it! But don't those moves all take the same length of time? Like, "slow" is basically the same movement as "quick". i need more differentiation between the two. I mean, if "quick" is the same as "slow" then "late" is the same as "early" and "true" is the same as "false" and the Universe becomes chaotic! Q-Feel why have you rocked my world so hard?!

  • Isnt this from their UK Euro-Vision performance???

  • I have never even seen a video of Q-Feel until today! Thanks! I love this song!

  • i was just listening to my 28-year old cassette, all the songs are great...you can't sit still with this one. but i thought the guy would be even gayer.

  • we dance to this every year for Sportsnite!!! omg it is sooo much fun...

  • this was MY favorite dance song....that fast foot move kinda kicking out and shaking your head back and forth..I think I got it from Adam Ant but it worked like a charm on this song.. love it

  • Why didnt they make it big in the 80's ? The vocal seem really crips to me and the whole concept of the band is great. :( what a shame.

  • this song realy dose stick in your head .... and four people dont like to admit that there girl friend makes them watch girls just want to have fun alot

  • The lead singer looks like Chevy Chase

  • DO THE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER!!!

  • Love this song, and 77, I'm with you on the Janie and Jeff thing. They were great during that scene and Girls Just Want To Have Fun is one of SJP's better movies. Catch ya on the flip side.

  • made in 80's

  • I love the two orbital booty girls.

  • This makes me smile.

  • Damn if he doesn't look like Sportacus from Lazytown!!!! LOL!! Great music though. I grew up with this stuff! Thanks for posting this!

  • esta cancion me gusta mucho tambien

  • wow this takes me back

  • I like the way his eyes bug out.

  • Think thea lead singer had some of the cocain in his mask he wore around his neck, lol.

  • That little pencil moustache is a bit disturbing...

  • you no... I always thought a black guy sing this song.... when I found out he was white.... i was shocked

  • Slow, slow, quick-quick, slow

  • I thought for SURE it was a black guy singing this!

  • Is that the bloke from that kids show Lazy Town?

  • @Gurrier yeah i think thats him. he got busted for drug abuse.

  • @suspect485 No, the lead singer is Martin Page. He's never been busted for drugs, and he's spent much of his career writing great music for other acts as well as himself. He's the same man who sang, "In the House of Stone and Light" and "Mi Morena." (Josh Groban sang it first, but Martin Page wrote it and performed his own version for his second album, In the Temple of the Muse.)

  • @Gurrier No, the lead singer is none other than Martin Page. He's gone on to write, produce, and perform some truly remarkable music. If you can, listen to his recording of "Mi Morena" (a song that he wrote that was covered by Josh Groban before Martin Page recorded his own version). Josh Groban's version is nice, but Martin Page's version makes me tremble with longing.

  • @Gurrier Upon another viewing (the song is addictive, and Martin Page is incredibly adorable), I've come to realize that you were talking about the guy on keyboards (Chris Richardson). And yes, he does look like Robbie Rotten, but the actor who plays Robbie Rotten (Stefán Karl Stefánsson) wears prostheses when he plays that role, is not a musician, and is from Iceland, not the UK. Sorry for the confusion.

  • Those girls are really workin' it ! Fun times back then........

  • This is what makes me realize that as teens in the 80s we had it really good! The music was just so incredible that it was almost impossible to get up in the morning and be in a bad mood for the rest of the day: IMPOSSIBLE!

  • Anyone knows if this tune is played in any club in London UK?

  • Do a bunch of coke and listen to this song, it's awesome.

  • The great music of the 80s with its variety and vibe is part of the reason (a very important part I would say), of why as teens we felt so alive back in those days.

  • Love this song!!! Long live the 80s!!!

  • @cnarvaez hell yeah!

  • @cnarvaez TOTALLY AGREE! This song is the bomb!!!! 80s RULE!!!!

  • He looks a little like Holly Johnson.

  • I am happy that Jack Fm played this song tonight in the Twin Cities. I haven't heard it since the 80's. Great song!!!

  • Amazing Song !!

  • I am making an electro/New Wave/Dark Wave/Romantic 80's mix and my friend who grew up in this era thinks this is very gay. I tell him, this isn't gay, it's the 80's damn it! ! ! !

  • @MrModelKiller I am confused, you say your friend grew up in which era? the 80s or in the 00s? If he had grown up in the 80s he would not be making such a lame comment, so I have to deduce he is a product of the 00s. But let me clarify: the 80s were not about being gay or straight. It was a decade that valued individuality, creativity and originality. That included, hair fashion, clothing, attitudes and of course music. That it was a great decade there is no question.

  • Thank you! This song was ridiculously hard to find when I was younger, so hearing it now is so awesome!

  • i love this song its from the movie "girls just wanna have fun" starring helen hunt sarah jessica parker and shannon doherty love it!!!

  • musica de lujo para conocedores, me acuerdo de Maricela en la miguel hidalgo

  • I wasn't born in the 80s either. But man, I love the 80s pop.

  • I'm soooo happy I grew up with this :)

  • wow, this song is so catchy and addictive... it makes me wanna dance right now.

  • love this song. doing a dance to it at school, but werid video.

  • Again, I LOVE this song!!!!

  • I cannot find this song ANYWHERE! itunes, gomusic.ru, nowhere! I wanna own it again!

  • GREAT SONG

  • @LT0099 Thanks for response I'll burn it for u my friend.

  • Still have the record and later got the cd.I love the cover record.

  • i so love this song.

  • when i used to live in LA,i heard this song everyday on the radio! is she really sarah jwssica parker?

  • @yugacha55 Yes, a very young one -- also Helen Hunt and a 12 year old Shannen Doherty. What I loved about the movie (I just saw it again), is the lack of vulgarity, etc. The story line is a simple one, but it was fresh and innocent in its own way. Made for the youth of the day. Clearly times have changed, and not for the better!

  • Fantastic song! The singer wrote it and played that heavenly bass.

  • @Fippypopulosa - Martin Page. He had a hit in 1993 or 1994. Couldn't believe it was the same guy.

  • This middle starting at 1:24 is the best , they could make another song with that. like dito did from the orginal song she had with enimenm

  • Uhm thumbs up if you heard this in Kickin' it old school? xD

  • Everytime I hear this, I picture anime action scenes.

  • are u ready here we go slow slow quick quick slow......love it!!

  • Orbital Bee-bop!!!!

  • how can i get this song ?

  • look up the early 80s. peter godwin- images of heaven, trans-x - living on video, omd - electricity, etc.. etc.. etc.. @chrisNova777

  • I loved this song ever since i heard it on Kickin It Old Skool.

  • Sarah Jessica Parker+ Girls Just want to have Fun!!

  • This song is NOT available on I-Tunes. That sucks!!

  • Mothra is compelled to answer @jackthayer and @hulkout666: Couldn't agree more with you. Mothra has been around for CENTURIES but jack, you're right. We could use more of this and less of the overblown, self-centric fever-angst to which the hulkout refers. Mothra surmises this video would NEVER be made today, although as hulkout sez: this was quite commonplace in the 80s. A lower-energy video would have been wrong and/or career-damaging. Mothra wishes peace and love to all, as always!

  • Recuerdo este tema de una pelicula de los 80's .....que años gracias por subirla...mis años de adolescente, cada vez mas lejos....... que nostalgia!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is a great song! And this video is hilarious! I know it was the early 80's but this still had to be a ridiculous video even for back then.

However for a song that sounds like it's about someone who has snorted an entire wheelbarrow full of cocaine and is now physically incapable of doing anything but dancing, I would expect nothing less than an over the top ridiculous video like this!

  • @DerkThunder Actually, it wasn't thought of as ridiculous back then. Music videos were all over the top. That was the norm. Nowadays, there is so much right wing bullshit and everyone feels the need to try to act tough. They're scared to just be themselves. During this time, everything was just really fun and that's how it should be.

  • @DerkThunder Well your comment leaves in plain view that you are a product of this generation who speaks without having any knowledge whatsoever about the vibe in the 80s. Since you were not there how would you know and thus understand? You don't. Your comment is simply baseless. Enough said.

  • they play this song on old navy now.

  • GREAT SONG VARY HIGH ENERGY AND I AGREE WE DEFINANTLY NEED MORE SONGS LIKE THIS AGAIN

  • this is so cool to see this...I never saw it when the song was at it's height....great classic tune...totally from my early DJ days.

  • great song. they're definitely not performing this live though, unless the original audio was replaced with the studio version. anyone know how to hear the whole album? Seems to be completely lost in time.

  • great song. they're definitely not performing this live though, unless the original audio was replaced with the studio version. anyone know how to hear the whole album? Seems to be completely lost in time.

  • this is ballsy ! the whole airline theme......cooooool.

  • I like the song. BUT the video is like really gay. SOOOO LAme.

  • @chivaleader89

what do you expect this was the 80s era. It was hip to act gay but not be in the 80s.

  • @freebeestud i've seen better 80s videos. This is one of the lamest.

  • For Missy Gleason... TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

  • Girls Just Want to Have Fun is the greatest dance movie of all time. Fuck dem haters.

  • This is one of the very best early 80's dance songs... which weren't many as everyone was moving away from disco/dance music as being so decade (too black too gay etc). In any case thanks to stuff like this a some italio disco there were still a few good dance floor numbers. Shannon "Let the music play" was more dance than new wave oriented.

  • also forgot about Kano's I'm ready.

  • Is that Prince Andrew on drums? GREAT SONG

  • This reminds me of the movie "Girls Just Want to Have Fun".Great movie, and great song!!!

  • Awesome

  • LOVE THIS SONG. Its my happy happy joy joy song.

  • THIS SONG IS AWESOME.. BRING BACK THE 80'S can anyone name the movies it has featured apart from Girls Just wanna have fun & Observe & Report?

  • I love when Janie and Jeff dance to this in "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"!!

  • @77ukraine that how found this song

  • Love, love, love this song!

  • is that Martin Page?

  • @watchtheskies yeah that's him... far from "In the House of Stone and Light" huh???... good tune though

  • @watchtheskies Yes, it is. He's in his 50s now, and he's still quite handsome. His zaniness seems to have been subdued by personal tragedy; however, he seems to have retained his sense of humor. He has also gone on to write, produce, and perform some incredible music.

  • i got to know this song by one of my dance instructors died so to honor her hard work we are going ot dance to this song awesooome!!!!!!!!!:0:)

  • Excellent song...this days everything is hip hop.....and "disney" pop.
