I like to edge-hog. I mostly use bumpers tho, i also use smash attacks, up smashes and aerial smashes to do it.

i remeber when i was kirby an i got a complete down a spike/spiral kick thing on a sonic lv9 and he was as good as dead an as i start to float back up he springs for his last hope at survivel but he was no were near teh edge an then...0.o another spring came and he did a double spring jump and the spring hit me while he landed safely on the edge and i got hit by the spring up b for i could puff up anymore and he edgehog me....i was like wtf...brawl has to many glitches...an that trip thing -.-

Considering that this is a video against lvl 9 computers SOLELY for the purpose of demonstrating edgeguarding, no. You can't judge him on that.

PS. Lv9 comps tend to screw themselves up because they airdodge as soon as you throw them off the edge.

It's a good video; nice job of showing Sonic's potentially-deadly edge game. It would be harder to pull this off on humans though, because they know how to DI. The concept should still work though, especially gimping them with the spring.

sadly the running off the stage into a fair rarely works with human opponent rarely waits so long to recover. The dair trick is nice, but very risky

nice vid, but i play luigi a lot and watching you edgegaurd against a CPU luigi is something that a human player would never do, instead of using luigis up B most players use their second jump then down B tornado to recover, then up if they need it

Well, it still demonstrates the general idea of aerial pursuit. Personally, I can pin this stuff decently when given a good opportunity, but I'm not that great at precision.

Also, I never thought of running off to hit.

Ill give it an ok, but this is only possible against possibly the ice climbers, and thats only if your lucky enough to separate them upon attacking. Most people i fight dont let this happen. =x

Not true at all I main sonic and have done this before against strong human players and it works.

I main him as well and sonics Low priority for Fair is out prioritized by most other aerials. While it is possible to do this, I think sonics greatest strength is gimping with the spring, or Bair. AS stated above most good players wont be waiting for 2 Fairs to hit.
