omg my large red belly is laying eggs right now the male mated with her 20 days ago is this normal shes laid eggs befor and they hatched but not this fast also could i buy a male and femal musk turtle

That is very fast but i just timed my red eared slider. It took her 23 day to produce eggs so yes i would say that normal since i have had that happen too.

My painted actually just laid some of her eggs in the water so gl with your eggs. Im not sure about mine but i will see if my eggs will hatch.

i dont think my painted turtle is going to make it ive had him for about 4 years and his skin suddinly got extreamly white do you know what is causing this.

Sounds like he has a fungus growing on him. Thats usually caused by dirty water conditions. Having clean water and dry docking him for a little will cure that.

Once shell hits 4inches there good to go. There age should be 5 years or older.

It depends on the turtle. Some turtles do not mind being picked up. Some turtles will actually come and sit on your hand or just rest there head on your hand.

My turtles are not like that cause i dont pick them at all.Its been 4 months since i picked up any of the musks. If the turtle found me abusive and they would hide in fear of me.

Actually I think it was legal, they were native and released before 30 days of being captivity. I looked up the laws. They dont state anything about hatchlings but its like any consevation program, they release the babys right away.
