In the original script for the film, she seduces their son in order to keep him quiet. The original ending had her murdering the family and moving on to another one. The mother finds out the secret, but the audience doesn't learn the whole truth.

The ending that they used destroyed any chance of aprofit-making sequel.

I just can't understand why do they make all the wierd people be Estonians. First Brandon Fraser was an Estonian cave man in Encino Man, then the pshyco orphan is Estonian and finally they made a hooker be Estonian in True Blood (BTW, she didn't even speak in estonian, she spoke in Russian!!!!!!) It really makes us, Estonians, look like there's something wrong with us! Bastards! :D
