Shore it was a breif life span, but I still think the Darkness were the best rock band of the 2000s. Yes you could argue that MUSE, Kasabian, Greenday deserve such a tittle. But all in all as much as I like MUSE and Kasabian (not Greenday aside from American Idiot), there still not quite pure rock and could end up merging into the crap modern pop (hell all music) scene. The darkness where hard rock/ glam rock which was the rock of 60s, 70s and 80s that we all know and love.
