Only one question, though. How'd you get YouTube to continuously loop the track? Or that some glitch on YouTube's end or something?
Because every time it ends, it just goes right back to the beginning...not that I'm complaining, just makes me easier for me to listen to this awesome track over and over again! :D
There's a pause annotation at the very last second of the video, causing it to essentially unpause when the video stops. I added it in when I submitted the video, but oddly enough it didn't work until only a couple of months ago. Better late than never!
I can't get it to work without slowing down to an insanely choppy pace when playing any level on this computer for some reason. The menus are fine. Hell, when you pause the game while in a level it's fine. I don't know what the damn deal is.
Usually a slowdown problem can be caused by your settings not meeting the settings of the game. If your computer is set to 16 bit and this game is on 32 bit for example that could cause a slowdown.
I was making a game a few days ago and this would slow it down drastically. Try changing your resolution to match the games.
Oh and as of five minutes ago the game just crashes when it tries to load so I have no idea what the hell happened. If I could figure out how to get networking running on Virtual PC I could have this running on an emulated 98SE and it'd be fine and dandy but I can't figure it out so daaaaaayumn
i use to play the first one a lot at my friend's house and after that we'd smack some flies in mario paint. now whenever i ask someone about jazz jackrabbit, they always respond with a strange look :'(
Yeah and for some reason DOSBox fucks Jazz1 up and slows it down to hell and back and for some reason even without DOSBox it does the same slowdown crap to Jazz2.
Been meaning to build a retro computer with Windows 95 or 98SE for a while now just to play old games without an emulator.
Do you suppose you could upload a new download link? Seeings as megaupload is all gone now. :L

You can use "YoutubeRepeat(DOT)com"
Just like this:
you tube(DOT)com/watch?v=O4HSP1CGgss
Gets tranformed into:
you tubeREPEAT(DOT)com/watch?v=O4HSP1CGgss

What kinda computer are you using?
I'm using Vista and this game works perfectly fine without a hitch. I'm really not sure what to tell you.
RobochaoXX 2 years ago
More than likely it's because I'm running Vista 64, which usually doesn't take kindly to older 32-bit programs.
SuperYoshi 2 years ago
Yikes. Vista 32 right here.

This sounds great hooked up to my stereo. I wish the online play for this was as big as it was in 2000. It's boring now, and no one ever talks.

I think the same person who made the music for this also composed the music for Deus Ex
also dosbox hates me

Correct; Alexander Brandon did a lot of the music for the two games.
