How to play import games on your wii with gecko OS

So, i can import Kamen Rider climax heroes OOO and just run it in the homebrew channel, or do i need to install "Gecko OS", and if so, is it all words that don't show up or is it just the one game?

Im confused, I downloaded Soul Eater Monotone Princess(its a japanese wii game like yours) but when I load it using gecko OS it just says no DVD is in the wii? Do you have any idea of why that woud be?

@MissRoxyTrickyGloop To play wii games you download from the internet? No, I use wiiflow, and usb loadergx, you can even use cfg loader. Only 3 program you need of course you have to install hacks in your wii first.

Will this work with back ups of import games? For example a back up of a PAL game on an NTSC console. I got the 4.2u update. I can get the game to start but after about half of minute the screen will go black. BTW I also have a Drivekey on my wii.

I'm trying to translate the game Have all the tools However something prevent me from excecuting the game due to an error. I believe it's an file encoding error i have found all the subtitles extracted the .arc modified (as a test) some of the japanese text. However it gives me an error upon running (when i change it) Someone who knows how they patched (translated) other wii games (what tools) please contact me on youtube. If you wan't to see this game be translated to full english.

cool hack but i see the application cant show the japanese characters,thats a real problem if u want to follow the story or just play another RPG that requires full read of the japanese language

Only some games have text problems. I have an european Wii and my japanese games works with perfect japanese characters. It's because some games use the Wii bios to show characters and a euro or US Wii doesn't have japanese.

(something like that but its the latest version after 1.9) and in order for me to play the game i hav to buy it from Japan and then i insert it into the wii run the Gecko OS channel and magic happens? (awesome but i wanna be sure cuz i dont wanna waste money D:) and can the Gecko OS run ISO,DVD-R?

I burnt a copy of Fatal Frame 4 the Japanese version which I hope I did right, and I tried to play it on Gecko OS but every time I try to load it I get Error: No DVD on the launching screen of Gecko. Got any clues to help me out. Thanks!
