  • at least u should afford to buy a seedless cucumber first! donot be so cheap! lolz. then ur julienne would like it julienne! lolz. forget the first rules of cooking! always impression first :D

  • how did i end up with this video

  • You Should Commit Culinary Suicide and Kill any aspiration you have of being a good chef/cook and focus on something you KNOW how to do.

  • that is not julienne...

  • @JDAdvertising I do. 1/16" x 1/16" x 2-3"

Then dice and boom! Brunoise. :)

  • @CajunTaco technically that is a fine brunoise. Brunoise is 1/8"x1/8"x1/8"

  • WTH?

    you have to train darlin'

  • do you know how should be a julienne in size?

  • u just hurt the cucumber if you cut like that..

  • suck

  • Isn't this tip kina obvious? I mean... nothing special about it

  • julienne is verry verry thin strip. thats NOT julienne.

  • Why take off the skin? Its edible :/

  • I'm sorry, but what is the point of this video? I think people can figure out how to cut a cucumber.

  • @TolaMady thumbs up to that...

  • man, u guys are always complaining "blah blah blah why aint the woman in the kitchen?" now you're all like "she don't know what shes doing i could do better" but i will agree she should take the skin off first.

  • don't keep the skin of the cucumber on

  • That was a waste of time.. I would use an julienne-iron on the green part, if i had to use it for anything. I don't think that even if you did the julienne right like that, it would have any use in any dish!?

  • ring finger is just begging to get the tip cut off

  • this is insane!

  • cool but what to do with sliced cucumber ?

  • @rajoninininis Eat it !

  • Every body knows who to cut a watermellon

  • You knife is dull.

  • that is definitely not how u julienne a cucumber or anything for that madder.. that was so un-even! thats the whole point of julienne.. uniform...

  • what the.... she's making it the hard way....

  • ridiculous

  • I'm annoyed by the vast number of "how to cut" videos who are of idiots with no classical training.

  • Dull knife she has.

  • my chef would say this are tree-width :p

    (I'm a rookie cook)

  • this is absolutly the wrong way

i can make a better one someone send me a free camera?

  • Those who left nasty comments: make a better one presentation! There is nothing wrong with this video.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • Another video of this woman showing us how to pass sharpened steel through soft, unresistant vegetable matter into small pieces.

I wouldnt let this woman into my kitchen, and I wouldnt let whoever this video is actually MADE FOR handle anything sharper than a fucking crayon. Whoever thought these videos were necessary is retarded.

At least Howcast recognizes how stupid their target audience is and even gives them an introduction to holding a knife so they dont cut their retard fingers off.

  • How else can you do it?

  • Let's make a video on the wrong way to cook, but not tell anyone!

Oh wait she did it already.

  • Your knife is not a saw, lady.

  • lol @ when she said even as possible the camera changed and showed her do a 2mm thick slice, then a four mile one

  • FUCK OFF WITH THE CAPTIONS YOU DUMB BLONDE BITCH!

  • @GnLReviews You know im deaf and captions are good.

  • o co chodzi?????

  • that is definitely not julienne..

  • @zeestizzystar she knows nothing about julienne for sure. way to big for (julienne = 3mm width and 4cm in length

  • @zeestizzystar loved your comment ahaha looolo:D

  • @zeestizzystar dis called "Crudité

  • fail

  • It also helps if the knife is sharper than that.. lol

  • Lol ya this whore is useless

  • Thank you for sharing this information with us.

  • This chic really needs some better training. i never realized that a julienne was supposed to be 5 inches long and include seeds.

  • Technically, Julienne cutting (like baton cutting, and much like matchstick cutting, it's a.k.a.) can be any length - although, 2 inches or less is the standard. I assume she expects you to follow through. She is just showing you the basic elements. Lighten up.

  • remove the seed strip before hand, much easier...
