Hello, I have 2 of these same gliders and have never been able to get them to rise into the air. I want to copy your setup you recommended to mgeniously. With gaining altitude, gliding around, and manuvers, what is the end approximate fly time with this setup? Would you recommend a different battery with more mah?

@mgeniusly HI THIS WAS A YEARS AGO SETUP. I SUGGEST YOU THIS NEW STUFF:

Motor EMAX CF2812- esc 30 Amp brushless-prop 8x5 slow flyer or 8x4 slow flyer(better) all with 1000mah 11.1V lipo battery (this battery will fit almost perfectly inside frame (a 1300mha will be good too)

With this setup the paracopter push incredibly strong! bye

Hi, ive just bought one! its on its way to me! how much diffrence did it make overall making it brushless?

Can they pick up thermals and soar a bit in flight ?

@jimbodisco Hi, It wark so good with stock setup just add a Lipo battery instead the NiCd pack !! Yep! it pick up thermals very good so you can reach altitude easly. Bruhsless setup wil give, of course, more power and allow more manouvers. bye!
