for all who have been served up with this myth by discovery channel etc that the cow roams around in india because it is sacred, hear i am dispensing this lie. The cow is sacred yes but not to all indians just a minuscule percentage of the population, a sect of hindus. But then why is is let to roam free then, thats because most of the dirty milk men who own them do not have enough moneyto make a shelter for them and the govt does not care. i have been to india. the truth is that cows are sacred to the hindis. they are allowd to go wherever they want. no one owns most of the millions of cows in india. most cows are street cows. they live their entire life in the city, eating garbage.
