  • Awesome when Rob stands up and takes his wig and mask off. Awesome moment!

  • i think itwas class that robin williams was there the whole time on stage and noone knew

  • This is cool but sad at the same time. He had cancer and was trying to get people to like him again. An Amazing performance...

  • @ericallencurtis123 Andy didn't have cancer at that time, actually. You probably think so because of the MotM which set his Carnegie Hall performance to be after he was diagnosed with cancer, probably just to make the whole thing more dramatic :)

  • @danceonair86 interesting, still it is a great performance

  • @ericallencurtis123 dude... what the hell are you talking about?

  • @BoredInRuston the video

  • @ericallencurtis123 ... He wasn't diagnosed with cancer until more than 6 years after this performance...

  • @BoredInRuston I wrote that 3 months ago! What do you want me to say? Wow, you're so knowledgeable!!! Thank you for sprinkling your wisdom in a comment. If you were paying attention, you would see someone else has already corrected me 2 months ago! Feed your ego elsewhere and leave me be.

  • @ericallencurtis123 this was done 4 years prior to his diagnosis

  • @D0S81 ok

  • @ericallencurtis123 so... you just watched man on the moon, huh? lol.

  • @ericallencurtis123 It's weird how a lot of people watch movies based in a real story and they think they just saw a freaking official biography lol

  • pure brilliance =)

  • I found myself swaying my head side to side as I watched this...lol that's so funny to me... Andy is infectious lol

  • Thank you for posting this!

  • Interesting how he never refered to himself as a comedian.

  • OMG!! It's Mrs Doubtfire at 7.58 !!!

  • whether he is played by michael or zmuda is irrelevant, i think. andy shared that immortalizing stage moment with either his brother or best friend. so, it doesn't really mater. does it? if tony clifton wasn't real, that is.

ps: remember, tony clifton needs you like he needs a shotgun blast to the face.

  • clifton is not as mean as in the movie

  • andy singing the world is a wonderful place makes me happy :)

  • The beginning makes me sad. The song is so slow, and it reminds me of his funeral in Man On The Moon. *smacks forehead* We love the things you do! You just change the mood. There`s never ONE feeling with your acts; Just a bunch bundled together. RIP

  • It reallu is Robin Williams as his grandmother, check out IMDB.

Although Jim Carey did a really great job doing Andy, no one can really impersonate this amazing man.

RIP Andy, hoping your doing the biggest prank if all times, if not we will always have our videos

  • Stop caring about the facts all the time! This was a beautiful performance, and Andy was a beautiful guy and a hilarious person, whether he realized it or not! Who cares who played who, and how someone did what, It was all for the moment and the moment will be remembered forever. Don't get everyone down, and yourself over your dumb comments! EMBRACE HAPPINESS AND MYSTERIOUSNESS! Kaufmanesque, and they say. Am I correct?

  • So you all know for a "fact" its his brother and exactly when Zmuda played Tony. Where do you get these facts from books? and you believe these books? then you're a fool falling for it again especially if this is coming from the man Zmuda himself.

  • how he has tony hold those "Aw" note's

    like Mooooooooooor or nin

    genius lmfao

that out of tune fail note ahaha

  • A legendary comedian....thanks for the upload...

  • FOREVER

  • thanks danceonair86 for this

  • this is magic.

  • Brilliant comedy...There will never be another like Andy.

  • Where are the Rockettes and Mormon Tabernacle Choir?

  • idk. Haven't seen all of it yet. Probably part 10 maybe?

  • can watch it over and over again! :-)

  • i just love it.

  • i love this duet

  • This is beautiful.

  • i was kaufman's brother

  • Comment removed

  • Thats Tony Clifton...not Zmuda....i know

  • was the grandma Robin Williams? Or missis Doubtfire haha I wouldn`t be surprised

  • Yes, indeed he was Robin Williams

  • Yes, its Robbin Williams :D

  • this has been verified several times by Robbin

  • Aww I want one of those shirts.

  • Is that Andy's brother Michael doing Clifton on this one? I doubt that it's Zmuda since it was obviously Zmuda that gave Andy the mustache and the microphone.

  • Nah it was Zmuda. at the time Any was starting to sing he was putting his make up on for the part.

  • Wrong. It's his brother. This show was in 1979. Kaufman didn't convince Zmuda to start doing Clifton until 1980 or 81. The first time Zmuda did it was on the old Letterman show then on Merv Griffen. Who told you this was Zmuda being Clifton?? They lied to you.

  • it was also written on the book "lost in the funhouse" that it would be his brother michael...

  • Yes. It's his brother.

  • it was Andy's brother

  • RIP Kaufman

  • man, it looks like the Santa Claus part was cut out.

  • that really sucks :(

  • what sucks?

  • it sucks that the santa clause bit was cut out

  • Oh, I gotcha. I know that is too bad. Maybe it was a money thing.

  • thanks mate, it truly made my day. Andy was a true comedian genius. have never seen the show before. thanks again.

    peace
