Its not that Weed can be 'addictive' ANYONE in the world can have a physical dependance on anything if taken too much, WHY weed hasnt been legalized in the states baffles me, their economy would have BOOMED at the rate there are so many arrests and assaults because of the selling of Marijuana - on another note - Hasselback NEEDS to leave that show, she never ever has anything constructive to say, Shes always like the 'Think of the children' woman from the Simpsons

Seriously, there is NO issue here. Science was settled on this DECADES ago. It's non-harmful, non-addictive, has medical uses AND EVEN medical *benefits*. In fact, the only "scientific" debates going on around pot are about exactly HOW pot has it's beneficial effects, but the only reason THAT hasn't been figured out yet is because of the government's legal restriction of it.
This is PURELY a political issue. Like Anthroprogenic Climate Change.
@metronomic1 Please do some research. I know plenty of people that are addicted to pot. Just because a substance does not alter the body to make it depend of the substance does not mean it is not addictive. There is no addictive substance in alcohol but plenty of people are addicted to that. And people are addicted to plenty of other actives such as gambling and sex.
@toastisgreat56 WRONG, Alcohol is a highly addictive substance that leads to actual chemical dependance. The chemical addiction to alcohol is so bad that a person can die from withdrawals. Weed has no chemically addictive substances, NONE. Can someone develop a habit? Sure, but that is all it is, a habit, like jacking off. I suggest you do some research yourself.

Legal or illegal kids are going to do it, but guess what- Its alot easier for someone under 21 to get weed from a guy on the street than it is from a store where you need ID. Thats why I started smoking weed, couldnt go to the pub, so we got weed instead! Oh and ive never done any other drug since, except alcohol which is a far more destructive drug than weed.
Pot can and is very addictive. any argument to the contrary is bullshit. but then again, so is alcohol...
