I agree with you. Armored Core has been a great series, almost outstanding. I honestly wish they (game developers) would produce a realistic version of Armored Core and Gundam (UC) along the lines of "steel battalion" minus the Special $150 (usd) controller. Thats what killed them in my opinion. I would have had no prob the Cheaper computer joysticks and Throttles/pedals due to using them along with other games.

This game would really kick ass if they gave:

-Nearly none stop flying

-A Higher power output and heat limit

-Back weapons no longer need to be stationnary fire

(Hated that the most and only solutions were tank or quad legs)

One more thing...Isn't Gundam and Armored Core part of the Bandai Company?? That can clearify alot even though they're from different game developers.

And as for AC and Gundam together... well, Another Centuries Episode 1 kinda has an AC in it, called Cloud Breaker, but its still from another game

and also, your ac doesn't have to kneel which gives you an advantage on Cannon weapons and you can even fire them when flying.

the game is great, and also a lot of improvements in the graphics happen and by the way, you can boost up too 1000km without loosing all your energy immedietly. And by the way, for those who want to play it on Xbox 360, its gona be released in March 20,2007.

the intensify was cool, but u can still make a good mech w/o it. However, i wish they would make some canons, maybe weaker than normal, that bipeds can use w/o kneeling down cuz by the time u kneel down, u're getting spammed with missiles and crap. the combat looks faster yay :D

Not only that but you can customize every part of your ac which means you can add some designs to your AC. The problem is that the AC's are way more advance than the AC's from the first game to Armored Core Last Raven since this is actually in the most earlier time were acs are very rarely seen.

I honestly think the game has gotten somewhat better. The Human+ thing and all that other crap would be a nice option in a vs mode, but I'm going to assume you don't like equal ground. If you really want to bitch about not having your precious Human+ and blame the overheating, then you're obviously not cut out for it. If you want to fly all fucking day and be uber awesome, go back to your Gundams.

Overheating is a bit of a joke, really. If something over-heat, you wouldn't lose AP, you'd just shut down.

The video looks far FAR too Zone of the Enders 2 esque and I was rolling when they showed all that flight.

Anyone who's played it knows the missions are a hollow way to gain parts and you hardly fly at all save for hops.

This seems to be the upgrade that the AC series badly needs. AC:LR was so gay because almost every biped cheated by flying around and raining on you with a linear cannon or grenade launcher >:-( !!!

reason why they took it off was because most ppl that would use the human plus would mostly have the linear cannon which is the strongest weapon in the game and fly forever without over heating wouldnt u hate to fight someone flying all day with a linear cannon and a kawasawa on both arms thats the reason they upgraded the system so that wont happen and make the game easy the bigger the challenge the better and human plus is for noobs that cant design a strong ac without overheating

Im a big fan of ac, but latly they are doing a poor job, with that heating garbage, no human plus and the fact that there ruining all the parts by " balancing" the parts. AND SOME OF YOU PEOPLE THINK THE GAME GOT BETTER y. b/c some people said that human plus should not be in the game. It's an optional part you don't have to pick it
