1. over his years of alcohol and drug abuse it weakend his heart and 1 night he was haveing heart troubles and instead of going to the docters he took a bath and the change in temperature caused his heart to fail.

2.its said that jim was scared of needles but still used heroin(by snorting) and one night in a club he over did it and died of an overdose in the bathroom and was carried back to his hotel room by some drug dealers and left in his bathtub.

The late Jim Morrison who was The Doors lead singer composed this song in about 1966ish I think and recorded it with his bandmates many many decades before the Bourne Ultimatum-or Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible films came along. But I am happy to when I see younger people check out Doors vids. :)

The surviving members keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore did try to carry on as a group for a few years after Jim's death in 1971-but it just wasn't the same magic without Jim. They released a few albums but they simply did not have the same success as in the days with Jim-and they broke up though they have continued to perform under various guises such as Ray, and Robby in "Riders on The Storm", etc. John has released Jazz style drumming CDs.
