As I see it, it's like Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" It's about a man living with an old man with a glass eye. The glass eye drove the other guy crazy to the point where he killed him. He hid the corpse under the floorboards of his room. And when the police came to investigate, he blew his cover when he thought he heard the old man's heart still beating. Driving him insane, he ripped the covers and confessed the murder. This is kind of like a modern day portrayal of that...Cool.
