hey, i just got bf 2142 and i am having immense difficulty...

they say i need 1.25, 1.4, and 1.5 yet when i get each of these patches installed, it either terminates the game every time i click "update server list" or when i click "join game" after the multiplayer map is loaded it says "this server does not allowed modified content. Please revert to the current official version of bf 2142". This is with the 1.4 and 1.5 installed. Can anyone help me or tell me what im doing wrong?

Anyone who plays BF2142 knows that the shown defense is tough to break. Sometimes the whole team falls victim to that spot. The way you got there so fast and snapped into action before they even established a solid defense is crucial. Man that is lovely. I'd love to play with you guys anytime.

the other team wont be able to do anything against it, they will lose at least 1 flag...

just repeat this until u got all their flags, keep the walker defensive and just attack with it when they only got 1 more flag because you will really need it then

The comcenter is the most important flag on this map, because the walker cant take it and its on a high place so they can throw nades down when ur tryin to take it...

just run around the battlefield with 1-2 guys at different ways, and if someone manages to come through he is the squadleader.

then everyone spawns at him and the last flag is yours within the first 2 mins of the round!

then attack each flag at the same time...

Is this your computer's settings, Bom? I guess it adds to your 200+ ping. Well I guess since BFCL is over, we'll seeya on the server again.

Yeah, I play on all high settings, but it doesn't drop frames. I average 40-50 FPS, which is fine. The 270 ping lets me down sometimes, but you get used to it :)

I play mostly competition now, but you can still find me on the TG pub server every now and then. Feel free to add me to your 2142 buddy list to see when I'm on.
