is the lead guitar playing faster here compared to normal cause it seems so.

Typically, for live music, every band tends to play a little faster, or slower. Here, the band is playing about 5 - 10 bpm faster, but it's not distracting. And also, for most live shows, the bands work off of the energy of the crowd. The crowd was REALLY reacting to the song, and was the only song where nearly everyone was jumping up and singing. :)

they are famous for doing most of their song for FLCL so of course most of their fans would be knowing about them through watching FLCL. Those guys are really pretty fricking old skool kick ass. the sound track for FLCL really owns all other anime ost thanks to them.
