The US military industrial complex makes a fortune selling weapons. The other way war makes money is by capitalizing on the resources of the invaded country, not to mention the the $ made by 'contractors' paid by tax dollars to 'rebuild' the invaded country that was destroyed.

The US has almost 800 military bases in about 130 countries around the world. We still have a base in Japan from WWII. All of this is not for peace keeping missions, it's to dominate the world's resources by force.
