  • I'm sorry. You guys are being way too extreme. If an officer is being polite and courteous to you just comply. It's easier for everyone. Now if an officer isn't then you have the right to be difficult. General rule: Don't fuck with the people doing their job, fuck with the people making the rules.

  • You guy are freaking nut! Nazis! you guys are so stupid. Go get a life.

  • @lockwoodjace shut the fuck you. they're right. this is where america is going.

  • If this was a free country; we wouldn't need to carry or renew drivers licenses, once we pass the driver's test. You put up with that; you will put up with anything.

  • Why is it when someone loses their drivers license all they have to do is pay money to get it back? The Secretary of State takes people's license and in effect takes the responsibilty for getting them off the road. Then extorts them. You put up with that; you will put up with anything. You rationalize that, but you can't understand checkpoints?

  • Hell, another brain on tour.

Dude, if your life is lame, go to Bronx and say the n-word.

You act like ***(sorry, can't find a name for it).

And you wonder why they cut your and at last our rights?

    Good job - brain man.

  • Use the weapon of your intellect to attack ideas, not people, and don't poke the bear in order to make your points.

  • Awesome

  • "This is how they started out in Germany"... Sigh... Please... We don't have time to give you a history lesson... But the more you make ignorant claims like that the more your argument goes into history as lunatic fringe... You want to make an argument that will have an impact then grow up...

  • @jr94952002 I have to agree with you. However, that being said, they make a vailid point and it has gotten more and more in the favor of big government. I say, keep the sign. We need extreamists in all area to have a balance in any. Well done guys!

  • @NoMoreNames1972 Now, one more thought. I do like the fact that they get the illegals out. However, the means doens't justify to ends. Control the boarder better and you don't have to have them that far inside the boarder.

  • Supa Nami... I have no problem with protesting random check points... Go for it... Fight it out in court and if they are stopped great! These children have the right to be idiots and they are idiots when they call these officers Nazis and compare them to Nazi killers... There is no defense for that for their insult to the officers, this country and the millions who suffered at the hands of the Nazis... Their post starts with a lie... "Nazi Checkpoint".

  • germany was free like the u.s. till 1939

  • I think it was John Cleese who said the problem with stupid people is that they may be so stupid they have no idea how stupid they are... Comparing this check point to Nazi Germany more than falls into that category... How incredibly insulting and ignorant for these children to be calling out to these officers that the Nazis were just following orders too... So lucky to live in the US so they can do idiot stuff like this and post it on youtube... Grow up and go away...

  • @jr94952002 and you're taking a quote from a comedian ... dude take a quote from me .. stupid can't be taught, but it can be learned .. and the stupid people here are the Police State .. the Police today just think that when they get a shinny little thing on his/her chest makes them the Supreme of the state .. wrong .. tax payers of that state pay them .. and stopping people for no reason violates the US Constitution, which every cop should know before they get that little shinny

  • Yeah nazi germany, oh yeah except for the killing innocent people part... Fucking dumbasses, let the police do their job, I'm a felon, I don't like cops any more than the next guy, but at the end of the day they are just enforcing the law

  • theyre checking for drunks asshole to keep us safe leave them alone

  • @doinworksonnnnn

Yeah right-don't be so naive. Drunks are usually pretty obvious and you can find them where they sell alcohol. Checkpoints are designed to generate income for the state and gather information on you. You are not free.

Love Yourself and Love others. We are one family.

  • Look up on youtube MADD president being ARRESTED FOR DRUNK DRIVING about a year ago... a group of hypocrites..

  • It's pathetic that you protesters have nothing better to do than harass the police. I bet you would feel different if one of your family members was killed by a drunk driver. Thanks police officers for keeping our streets safe!

  • I'd rather have nazi germany than people who bitch about this stupid shit.

  • @MaximusProdious ROFL, I would love to see you try and few minutes later cry back to your mommy USA to take you back asap LOL

  • That would be sweet if a drunk passed out and ran over the protesters lol

  • pretty soon us mexican are gonna were a badge saying were legal

  • @nathankier You're not funny, you're not clever, and you're not getting the point. Fatal flaws for someone trying to make one.

  • Oh, I see. You're saying the Nazis ran checkpoints like this and so do our police, so the police must be as bad as Nazis. That means that guys who wear grey suits must be as bad as Nazis because they wore grey uniforms! Oh, and ya know what else? Hitler motivated people by convincing them that a particular group had been screwing them over and opressing them, thus breeding hatred toward them... kind of like what you're doing here. So, by your logic, you're as bad as Nazis too. Fun!

  • @nathankier Don't worry I got your point.

  • Totally raise my Nazi Checkpoints in Germany awareness now, its a big deal how so many people WITHOUT aware of Nazi Checkpoints in Germany. But seriously, thank you cop. If I was in the checkpoint I wouldn't want these guys next to my car with signs and trying to tell me that Germany had Nazi Checkpoints.

  • @chingyang101 Evidently you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. Too busy swallowing the bullshit that's given to you by the media.

  • @Torchmark Media is not the only way to swallow bullshit. But what do this have to do with the media?

  • HI where fucked up old hippies that have nothing better to do with our lives then to go to great extent to make our self out to be victims of "The Man" so we can bitch about it.

  • YAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! NO MORE DUI CHECKPOINTS NOW MY OTHER LITTLE BROTHER CANT DIE BY A DRUNK DRIVER TOO... such a good protest

  • pointless video.

  • Ja vole Mein Fuhrer

  • where i live cops do this all the time and they also check your alcohol level. i feel so much safer when i kno that drunken drivers are off the streets... how low is it to go herrash this WORKING officer.. he is doing his JOB! it was not HIS idea to do this... U guys need to get a job!

  • @korneli yeah in a way this is just harrasin the guy doing his job. They didn't acheive anything. They should be harassing the voters, so maybe they will vote different people in there.

  • @yabaworld however, they should have the right to stand on side and say whatever they want. Police need to be/and mostly are logic/logical in their work.

  • It's all about the money, what the public needs is a wealthy (really wealthy) liberal to balance the odds a little... (some nice kevlar body armor and riot gear for the masses! )

  • Obviously this is not Nazi Germany because you would all have been shot in the head

    however

I do agree there is something wrong about the checkpoints. I would think if they are DUI checkpoints, they should not be checking for stolen vehicles, running licenses and identification cards, asking for papers...They should check for DUI of Alcohol only. And even then, what about the guy not swerving who just came from a barbeque after 2 beers? It's a holiday -they should give leeway& raise the limit

  • @steveahmann I don't say this to many people on the internet, but you are really a piece of shit. If they had roughed you up and arrested you, it would nothing but what you deserve. It is illegal to interfere with the police when they acting lawfully and they were.

  • @lowlandpark just because some attorneys pass some laws cuz it is profitable for them to make as many things illegal as posssible does not make it LAWFUL. that is why we used to have courts where one could go in and argue the constitutional validity of laws. We cant do that anymore because idiots like you argue for their own enslavement.

  • Whoever put this video up is closer to a brownshirt (Nazis) than these police are.

  • you people are fucking idiots, 90% of the stuff you told that cop was stupid as hell.

  • I stopped caring when they said they took vehicles away from undocumented illegal aliens...they are breaking the law..You criticize the police for enforcing the laws? Its why we pay them with tax dollars.

  • Instead of harrassing trained officers and volunteers...why dont you go become a police officer yourself so you can do it "the right way". If you're so smart i'm sure you can figure out how to police the community and still make everyone happy. You smug child.

  • @djfoster73 I am not a big enough crook to be a cop. I would not last a week.

  • bunch of derelicts with nothing to do, talking crazy. Yes they can do a random check point

  • ...that will get everyone to be more careful...not just the drunks. Of course common sense doesnt hire a bunch of filthy pigs now does it.

  • The real way to ahndle this problem is not to arrest for people for a crime that has not been committed yet ...but to increase the penalty for fucking up. ie if you drive impaired (whether it be for alcohol, cell phone or whatever the reason) and if youaccidently are guilty of negligent manslaughter or hurting someone. If youaccidently kill someone then you do 40 years that will do more than this revolving door cash register for the govt..

  • look on about 1:37. look at his vest. i think his name is officer "turd"

  • I guess most of the idiots on this thread LIKE being forced to pay a bunch of pigs to be involved in every aspect of theri life. That one bitch even admited to being the wife of a soon to be pig. Of course, since she is getting paid she likes it. She called me a 'bigoted asshole'...please look up the word 'bigot' you uneducated fool. And dont come crying to me when your husband beats you.

  • @steveahmann Just the way you have addressed me, in every way, proves you are more violent than he will ever be. Someday you will have need of the services you so despise, and who would want to protect you or your rights? My husband is a good and honerable man who is willing to go through hell twice to protect your rights. My husband would take a bullet for you, or stop a drunk driver from perhaps killing you or themselves. Sadly when you read this you'll just cuss some more and repeat yourself.

  • @KnightHawke01 actually...and everyone please make note of who started with the name calling first...YOU DID!!!...and since there is a record of that here on this YOutube...unless you delete the comment where you called me an 'asshole' and a bunch of other names ...everyone can see that you started in with that....not me.

  • @steveahmann Somebody give this man a cookie. Yes, I did tell you what your posts made you look like. You aren't exactly someone who commands respect, or even understanding. Reading your posts all I can say is that you shouldn't complain about a few names from someone who is emotionally close to the subject. Being hostile does not grant you ears. I'm done with this, that first post wasn't even mine.

  • @KnightHawke01 I love watching you bury yourself. I see...you and your wanna be cophusband pick andchoose who you giverepect to. That is why you dont get any respect from themajority ofpeople in this countryanymore. Fearisnotrespect.deny people'srights todefend themselvesand thenthreaten to notdo yourjobs 'when we need us'. Why dont you and your husband go suck on the prosecuting attorneys dick some more that is the only person yourespect. whetherheisripping peoleoff ornot.

  • @steveahmann ??? I'm sorry that -a: made no sense, and -b: was hard to read because someone can't type very well. I give my respect to people worth respecting. That ain't you sugar.

  • What's the first song

  • As far as I'm concerned, round up the 12 million illegals, send 'em back to their home countries, and let them come back THE LEGAL WAY!!!!! And when you come back learn the language and assimilate you dirtbags!

  • Why is it that pretty much everyone fighting for the rights of lawbreakers are always pot heads?

  • @TheDanRant: Probably myopic vision on the part of the viewer.

  • wow...hate the way the system works here? Go somewhere else

  • @KnightHawke01 ....I am...and when I am gone...they will only have you left to rip off and subjugate...

  • @steveahmann As an American citizen, anywhere else you would have no rights at all. Don't you know that? They have checkpoints in any country, and in those countries they don't have to tell you when and where. I have friends who are officers, my husband is a Marine going to the Sherrifs academy. I get to see the other side, and it just makes people like you look like an ungreatful, selfish, bigoted, spoiled asshole. -Good Day To You

  • @KnightHawke01 Yes maam. But America is about being free. Not about being more free than the next country.

  • @yabaworld True, but sadly that's a very difficult realitiy to deliver when the citizens are less than cooperative in reaching said goal. I would love it if we didn't need police or a military. With these check points and asking for ID, they are looking for people with warants out, people who have committed homicides and robberies. To protect the ones who are good people. It's too much to explain in one post. But thank you for being so respectful . It makes me want to listen to you.

  • @KnightHawke01 What do you think about when the checkpoints turn up something illegal that is not a DUI, homicide, or robbery? I'm not a pothead, I'm actually enlisted & due to ship out to basic in a month. But what do you think should happen if this checkpoint turns up a sober kid with a gram of weed? Or even someone with a bench warrant? Should they charge them or let them go? I will give you that these Checkpoint Protest citizens must be annoying as F$@#.but have a right2B

  • @yabaworld Those are all valid points, and no system is perfect. Good luck to you in the military, and fighting for a better America.

  • @KnightHawke01 yes, and fucking assholes like youwant it the same way here. You dotn fucking get it do you? It has become the sme way here becuase fucking litttle puke wanna-be pigs like you have destroyed what used to be good about being here...it is the same way here as communist Russia now. But youare too fucking stupid to figure that out.

  • Comment removed

  • @KnightHawke01 I have never heard an announcement here in Pittsburgh PA saying "there will be a DUI checkpoint tonight at this location." I don't know if the laws are different in some states. But what do you mean in other countries they don't have to tell you when and where? Do they here? And if so, are they just required to say it on the radio once, or do they have to post it on their website and if people call and ask tell them where and when?

  • This is done in the UK also, and it's beneficial because the Police catch drivers that have had their licences revoked previously. They're doing their jobs, stop impeding them and get a life.

  • @Liverpoolbornandbred Thank you! Its nice to see that some people on youtube haven't smoked away all of their brain cells!!

  • everyone leave california

  • Nut jobs like this crack me up

  • well California is Nazi land sooo why are you surprised?

  • just for shits and giggles heil hitler

  • If this was like "Nazi Germany" you would not be able to voice you're dumb ass opinion on YOUTUBE.

  • Hey buddy, 4:05 "they usually victimize undocumented immigrants" YOU DON'T SAY? So you're saying that they are arresting people who arent legally in the country? Your Harvard education is present here isnt it?

  • Bottom line. If you're not doing anything illegal this shouldn't bother you. Nazi? Really? College Kids..... what are ya gonna do? Thats right Its America!! You should have the right to drink and drive potentially cause harm Badgering them with all your 'knowledge' only impresses the people you're with. Roadside check points only irritate those breaking the Law. If your not drunk and have your papers in order, it only takes two minutes of your time. Why so angry?

  • @bigemoo: Why should I be forced to prove my innocence? Why should I have to be inconvenienced because someone else does something illegal? Why are they conducting checkpoints when studies show that roving patrols are more effective?

  • @Pafoofnik1 Why is it a big deal to prove your innocence? You really can't spare 5 minutes of your time to prove you aren't doing anything wrong? Thats how the world works, when someone does something illegal, everyone suffers from it. Whether it's having to spare 5 minutes to stop, show the cops your license and whatnot, and that you aren't drunk, and then being on your way. Or you suffer when these checkpoints aren't around and a drunk driver hits you and paralyzes you from the waist down.

  • @TheDanRant Of course I have the ability to spare 5 minutes of my time, I just chose not to.

    That's how the world works.

  • @Pafoofnik1 That doesn't answer ANY of the questions I provided for you lol. You CHOOSE not to give 5 minutes of your time so the police can make the roads safer?

Oh, still waiting on those statistics you claim to have, by the way hahaha.

  • @TheDanRant: Of course it answered your questions, except for the obviously rhetorical one. You apparently just don't like the answer.

I gave you directions to the information you wanted. Your inability/unwillingness to read the information doesn't negate the fact that it's there.

  • @Pafoofnik1 Oh and I'd love to see the statistics and research that show roving patrols are more effective than checkpoints. Wait till one of your loved ones is harmed by a drunk driver, or become a first responder like myself and respond to a drunk driving accident where a 19 year old girl is found in 3 different places 17 meters apart from each other. Do that, and then you can fight for the rights of drunk drivers.

  • Yes nazi germany, tell that to the people who lived and survived during that time that TODAY, is just like that. Keep telling them that its just like nazy germany while you drink your starbucks use your flip cameras and call people on your iphones.

  • @PhDFRIZZBI thats beyond idiotic like that has anything to do with it - but at least you have millions on your side who are satisfied with having no rights and having material luxuries. thats just what 80 years of technological advancement has gotten us. the US is indeed not equal to nazi germany but it IS a fascist police state. and theres millions of us who think that as well; conservatives, socialists, in betweens so start reading before saying condescending ignorant shit like that LOL

  • its 4th of july weekend and what are you guys doing hahaha get a life!

  • @g46Io Seriously, these guys a fucking losers

  • I agree that the roadblocks constitutes a violation of unreasonable search..but give the guy a break..he was very nice. I wouldn't want to deal with the guy that replaces him. :(

  • I must have missed the actual document that states you have a RIGHT to drive in this country, and that it isn't just a PRIVILEGE.

  • @TheDanRant: What document do you think we need we need to state that we have rights?

Driving is a right. We as a nation have decided that driving on certain public roads require the possession of a license indicating proficiency in controlling the vehicle you use.

Possession of this license is a right, once the holder satisfies the criteria for the license. The license cannot be rescinded without just cause.

  • @Pafoofnikand right to obtain, but a privilege to use.

  • @bigemoo: Nope. I address the ability to remove my right to drive on certain roads in my last two paragraphs.

There are regulations keeping me from openly speaking in certain government buildings, like courtrooms. Do these regulations remove my right to free speech?

  • @Pafoofnik1 whatever!. My point is still that if you have nothing to hide, these check points shouldn't bother you. You can stand on your rights all day if you want but if you get busted for something else during a random check, its your own damn fault. You want a perfect system in a imperfect world. Cops can be pricks, but 99% of them are helping us by keeping dipshits off the road.

  • @bigemoo said: "if you have nothing to hide, these check points shouldn't bother you."

Mutually exclusive, but like you said...

    whatever.

  • These people have no idea of what Nazi means... The ignorance on display is sad...

  • What a bunch of hyperbolic assholes!!! Even if you don't agree with checkpoints, the police have demonstrated incredible restraint with these losers! Oh, and if this were NAZI GERMANY, they would've shot these idiots and taken their cameras.

  • was the first song being played by loud speakers on location? lol

  • illegal searches....?

Generally when cops set up a checkpoint, they have a court order to be able to do so. Unless you are being searched yourself, i'm ASSUMING you wouldn't have the right to request to see the papers. However i could be wrong, so flame me.

  • it is a dui check point. NAZI CHECKPOINT TELL ONE OF A DRUNK KILLS ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS OR FAM. MEMBER.

  • I agree with everything in that video, but that guy was a nice cop, if you do that shit where I live you would've been beat and locked up.

  • Ashkenazi = Jews from Germany

  • oppressors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • what's so bad about a checkpoint if you haven't done anything wrong?

  • @TacoBoyManThing you dont know whats going on,

    get informed

  • fucking pigs

  • Check points are for idiot pig motherfuks close they down police are bunch of damn legal nazis lol....

  • Gotta love the Nazi music.. lmao

  • @Terr0ristC0rnwallis ahahahahahahaha

  • Violate peoples rights? Thats the funniest line in this video.. It's not your RIGHT to drive a car in America dumbass! It's a privilege, and only when met with the correct legal following. Which include proper registration, insurance and licensing. Oh and not being DUI.

So YOU dumbass's just wated a lot of time, bandwidth and taxpayers money. Thanks

  • @tmarkert2003 Thinking that you need permission to drive, something as natural as riding a bike is a sign of your inability to take true responsibility for yourself. That is something people who want to control you want. If you look closely at the actions of your government you would see countless laws that don't involve personal injury or loss being enforced to procure revenue. Revenue already being paid to the police's worthless hides by way of taxpayer dollars. Dollars you paid to protect U.

  • @tmarkert2003 said: "It's not your RIGHT to drive a car in America dumbass! It's a privilege,"

Driving is a right. We as a nation have decided that driving on certain public roads require the possession of a license indicating proficiency in controlling the vehicle you use.

Possession of this license is a right, once the holder satisfies the criteria for the license. The license cannot be rescinded without just cause.

  • @Pafoofnik1

But can be revoked at any time, hence a privilege. Rights cannot be revoked unless you commit a crime. Driving can be revoked if you do not comply with laws. Laws state that you must obey roadway directives. On this roadway, the directives are to go to the checkpoint, for DWI, not for "showing papers", fools.

  • @NMPros said: "But can be revoked at any time"

But only for just cause, like not complying with laws. And it only affects driving on certain roads. Please reread my last paragraph as it already adressed your justification..

  • Idiots invoking Nazis and such. I'm all for exercising your rights, but you're just acting a fool by bringing up Nazis.

  • @SuperDrRockzo Nazi Germany had to start somewhere. You can't argue with the fact that US citizens rights are being stripped, which is necessary for a fascist state. ffs

  • fucking americans, you live in one huge shit hole of a country!

  • what a bunch of fucking spergs

  • It would have been a really interesting video if someone in the protest group decided to drive through the checkpoint while giving the Nazis the finger.

  • you ppl are so fuckin stupid. the real nazis would shoot your dumb asses

  • @rubbernutz1 they eventually reached the point where they could. I bet these guys would do that too, if only it started becoming the norm. Every US citizen is losing more and more rights every day

  • this is just the beggining in the future they will probably hurt yu for that. I'd be very careful then.

  • Your whole group of Liberal punks SUCK leave the cops alone so they can do there job and who cares if they get some illegal Mexicans off the street.

  • I enjoy videos in which people protect their constitutional rights but this video just sucks and you are wasting your time

  • when their hippie kids get older they will call parenting policing and start protesting against their own parents protesting i have the right to put my finger in an electrical outlet or i can dive in the shallow end of the pool

  • So to the dicks who made this video you want there to be drunk drivers out there hitting 4 year old on a bike. I have never seeing a bunch of fucking idiots with video cameras before. by the way they could be looking for some one who just shot a bunch of people. But no trying to hunt down some one who just shot a bunch of kids or people should just go free. good lord you guys are just low life fucks go leave country people like you make it worst.

  • @TheZero4life

What 4 year old rides a bike at 1 in the morning?

  • they also had check points before Hitler? good lord this is fucking retarded. You don't see them trying to find out who Jewish and who not so they can send them to the gas chamber.

  • ITV butthurt college kids who want to drink and drive.

  • Comment removed

  • 2.) I live in Germany and we have similar problems with the police state. Secretly poisoned food, full of hidden surveillance cameras and chips, police checks and velocity measurement with cameras and radar. And all this just to make money and Kontolle over the people.

  • 1.) Unfortunately, the word Nazi is understood always wrong. Nazi means National Socialist. That means you stand to his country and the people. The cops just stand to the Zionists who rule everything and rake in the money. It's here in Germany, unfortunately, still Sun If you take it exactly, since your the Nazis because you know what do for your country and the people.

  • im all for protecting our rights and what not but im almost for these "nazi checkpoints" because im sick of illegals taking our jobs. sorry but thats how i feel. this is america and we need to take it back. ship the illegals and the people that want them out of here

  • @holleyboy233 I hope you plan on doing the landscaping , cooking, and all of the other jobs Americans "forgot" how to do. I'm sorry but use your head and realize the value of anyone pushing the country forward. Tell your sons and daughters to do the work . They can't either because they're caught up with music videos , video games , and reality television. Furthermore they can't spell , think for themselves, or begin to be self starters. Worry about that before you worry about the "illegals."

  • @DownwiththeK004 oh i know full well that we as Americans are most of the problem because we are lazy. I'm 20 years old trying to be a police officer and im in college right now. ill teach my children not to be lazy and if we got rid of the illegals it would force us to work for the things we wanted just as it did when we were building this country. i know me being young may make me ignorant of some things but i feel like we just need to nut up and get shit done. i know easier said than done tho

  • This Sergeant was being WAY to pleasant to these hecklers. My patience would have run out a long time ago. All these people have for ammunition is "This is a Nazi checkpoint, man!". Not once time in this video did I see any officer pluck out a bunch of Jews and execute them on the sidewalk.

  • @AdamIowa89 You mention Jews, the Nazis did more than "execute Jews". Nice job showing your ignorance and love of your State masters.

  • @dcjeffers02 You're right, they did do a lot more than just execute Jews. So point out to me any resemblance of a Nazi in this video.

  • @AdamIowa89 Authoritarian overreach by the State. Standing on a public sidewalk is not obstructing anything. Everything the Nazis and Communists did was justified, lawful, and had the support of people like you.

  • @dcjeffers02 People like me? Who the fuck do you think you are. People like you just LOOK for stuff to compare to the Nazis and Communists so you have something to complain about in your privileged fucking lives. All I see in this video are officers trying to do their job at a LEGAL checkpoint and a Sergeant having an incredible amount of patience to put up with these jobless fags standing on the sidewalk and yelling at the people in the cars not to consent to searches.

  • @AdamIowa89 I agree with you, but only to a point. I do believe the arrogance of law enforcement must be challenged. The police are illegaly trolling adainst our 4th amendment rights. However, standing around harrasing the police without any attempt to educate as to why they are doing it is just being college punks. So there you go, I agree they are punks but our rights aren't to be stepped on either.

  • @MrWaymore13 I'm glad someone is agreeing with me. And don't get me wrong, I'm in no way shape or form saying that our rights should be stepped on. In this instance, the police aren't doing anything wrong. Last time I check, checkpoints weren't illegal. But people like to create a double standard for them. As long as the checkpoints are for Mexicans in the country, they are OK. But if they are for everyone...it's Nazi Germany.

  • @AdamIowa89 Let's see here; personal attack, personal attack, biased opinion, biased opinion, personal attack and ad hominem. You do realize that just doing their job does not give them moral ground. You also mention legal as though it were something to be proud of as well. As was illustrated with the comparison to Nazi Germany, everything they did was legal; Stalin was legal. Your post is dripping with affection for the state, what you don't get is that the state is not your friend.

  • @AdamIowa89 In addition, I said "people like you" because they couldn't have done what they did unless they had support from the majority of people. If you took that as an insult you further prove my point.

  • Comment removed

  • @AdamIowa89 No, I am open to a debate, but all you are doing is insulting me. My beginning point was that you have a blind respect for the police. You also childishly compared the Nazi criticism to publicly executing Jews. Nazis did not care about Jews and the Holocaust was not about Jews, anyone different was jailed and executed. This included regular Germans who expressed even mild disagreement. You play right into the agenda of marginalizing groups, reinforcing "People like you".

  • @dcjeffers02 What marginalized group do I belong to? And what is their agenda? Just because I have respect for some people behind the badge and like to defend them when they are attacked by "people like you" doesn't mean I have a blind respect for the police. I am not a criminal and obey the laws of our country while exercising my 2nd amendment right. I know the laws and understand the laws which is why I never have any problems with law enforcement.

  • @AdamIowa89 Secondly, the fact that you respect someone just because they have a costume and a platic badge indicates you have a blind respect. Badges don't grant extra rights or higher citizenship, unless you feel that they do, unless you feel that police are above regular citizens. Atrocities like Nazi Germany happened because of people who respected the police, people like you. They got support and momentum from people who marginalized others for the state, people like you.

  • @dcjeffers02 Now, you like to think that you may have "schooled" me with your little lesson about Nazi Germany, but that fact is I am very informed on that topic. So don't clinch on to my comment about the Jews to keep your argument afloat. But let's go back to your comment about the Holocaust. You are wrong for the most part. Sure, the Holocaust was about killing Jews, gays, JW's, people with disabilities, etc. But to say they didn't care about Jews is an insult.

  • @AdamIowa89 Thirdly, my argument is not barely afloat. You are the one struggling to justify your opinion, yet you keep saying: "Nazis hated Jews, so I'm right". Nice argument. You have yet to refute me.

  • @dcjeffers02 Let me break it down. The Holocaust killed roughly 6 million Jews out of the roughly 9 million who lived in Europe beforehand. The deadliest phase of the Holocaust was in fact The Final Solution. This was the systematic genocide of the Jews. Although the Jews weren't the only ones killed, they were more than likely the majority. It is tough to say since the range of total deaths is 11-17 million, but even someone like you can see the Nazis had a special interest.

  • @AdamIowa89 I did not say you are part of a marginalized group, I said you are doing the work of the state by marginalizing others. The state doesn't have to do anything when there are people like you who criticize others for dissent. My friend, information about the Holocaust you got from your high school history book does not constitute as fact. The agenda of the party was the expansion of the State. People like you supported what the state did to the minorities, not just the Jews.

  • @AdamIowa89 Fourth, you may have an abundance of knowledge on Nazi treatment of Jews, yet I bet you know nothing of how the government treated others. People were jailed, fined, and executed for voicing opinions. Later justified as "national security", the people applauded the state and the party; "Good thing we have officers of the law to bring justice and keep us safe". I still wonder how you feel sorry for just the Jews, and attack people who are against the state. You disgust me.
