@weaver900 I did not say the script was created by me. Note that the vid was made 2 years ago ( weird cus I made it more than 2 years ago) and is as a matter of fact very outdated. This vid actually helped alot of people.

uhhm hard scripting? Well then you need to learn Ruby I guess. Start by searching for tutorials and make small programs. It needs dedication though to learn a coding language.

I also had to hack my INI file and replace the C:\ drive letters in the file to D:\ so it could open the Project files, and magically it recovered my entire project, but my Killer Game Destiny of Souls I can't recover it, I'm thinking about downloading some hard drive Petition recovery software if no one can help me!

Also I had to hack the INI files to RPG maker 2000 and change the Drive Letters everywhere in the INI file to D:\ I had to do alot to recover maybe you guys can use my method to recovering your lost data/projects least for RPG Maker 2000

Here's what I did to recover my old project, I had to reinstall RPG Maker 2000 and make a new Project but then make the missing map numbers (New Blank Maps of course) and save, once I did that I simply just overwrite the files with my Backup Project. LOL Dragon Ball Z: Dark Saga was recovered. Did the same overwrite then for the system files as well. But Rpg Maker XP is a pain in the ass and I was using my own RTP with the regular RTP. So I don't know - I want my game recovered 3 hours gameplay!

I don't know what happened the drive I made my Project files for the OS Crashed so I had to swap out the drives now my master is my slave and my slave is my master. I was able to recover my old RPG maker 2000 project, that was a feat in itself. But I tried doing the same steps to recover my XP Postality Knights one and I had no luck. I know the data is still there based on the file size and they are still of the NTFS file format.

Well I just used hypercam for this one (wich I dont use anymore) its recorded full screen with my highest screen resolution. The key to make clear videos is to avoid saving your video file alot because every time you compress it (and its quality) Maybe I will make more vids around rpgm but that will be for the last version off it. not the xp one

With the scripting are you able to completely alter every aspect of how the game plays (Such as if you want real time combat and not turn based) or is it very limited?

Well you are able to make a real time action like for example Zelda and make events like whenever you attack, the enemy in the squire before you gets hit but it requires some thinking of course :) But if you rly want to have 100% freedom in everything I recommend learning a coding language and start from scratch

Yeah, but the graphics alone are already a pain in the butt. Even creating a window and leaving it open takes like 1-2 pages of code (including initializing directx etc).

Just a question but how did you get Unreal Engine (I mean the proper one that you have to buy a license for) plus when i wrote that comm i was jking. Plus using a game version of it rubbish all you get are the game's models (Unless they gave you a code how to do it and if they did i would like to know but i'm not abseolute genius)

"Total Conversion" means that you can use the engine (wich is already created for the specific game) to code in your own functions, create new models, gametypes, event, weapons,... etc What results into a Total Conversion and is way more fun than a goddamn plain 1, 2, 3 and done! game maker.

Yes I suppose you could see it like that. I use ut because it already has a engine with some systems already coded from the game itself

What you really need is UT 3 (If your computer can take it) it uses Agiea Physics as well plaus has up to date coding i suppose that's better but i still think that the full engine is better for some reason. And i like cube mapping more than 3-D mapping cause' i find cibe mapping much easier. I'm only just starting to make games and learn programming at the moment though i am programming a 2-D Visual Basic MMORPG Game Engine for windows which isn't done YET.

This will work with vx btw :D

scripts load from top to bottom so higher priority scripts go higher up. The exception is main which stays at the bottom :D

Well it could be that the script needs more commands to run or it'll need more info inside the script. You must ask some info to the creator of this script you are talking about.

1. I use a animated battlers script

2. Just insert them in the map battlechars and select the battle char that you inserted with the right character.

PS:some ppl think that you can set rpgmaker into a "mode" that all normal battlechars turn into a ABS char. Well it's not true and actually not logical.
