Jean grey and Cyclops for me, since i was kid, i dont know what was but something was missing. Now with Emma Frost, Cylops is a badass leader and their relationship is so cool. Emma and Cyclops accept each other. Different from the caos was Jean and Scott relationship.

I'd also suggest X-Men/Dark Avengers: Utopia (explains how the X-Men end up on Utopia), Nation X (the trade that comes after Utopia, Magneto joins the X-Men), and when it comes out in trade, Schism. Also both Uncanny X-Force trades currently out (and the third as soon as it comes out). Uncanny X-Force is hands down, flat out, amazing. Also Age of Apocolypse V2-4 is pretty great as well. Hope that answers your questions :)

@benscomics I'd also add Generation Hope v1 (Future is a four letter word) as hope is quite important to the x-men at the moment, and X-Men: Magneto Testament - a really moving and amazing book. :) And I'll say Uncanny X-Force again, beacuse a hit team of Wolverine, Angel, Deadpool, Psylocke and Fantomex is just AMAZING.

I think that Iron Man Extremis did the best job of animating the speech and movement and what not. The fact the suit looked metallic and cg in the comics helped it transfer all the better as well.
