This is an excellent camera for those who enjoy shooting non professionally. Comments below that feel they need to "bash" a very decent beginner/enthusiasts camera are in the wrong place. This camera is not comparable to a 5D or any other professional DSLR, so why even start? Those who love the hobby can take quite fine photos with this, I have on a friend's, and was quite satisfied with the quality for an everyday photo. If you don't have 1,500-2,500$ to spend on a body, go with a Rebel.
HEY! I NEED HELP.. someone can tell me.. whats the exactly size of the box? and the exactly weigh!! plizzzzzz the weigh with all items in the box =).. lens.. and all that..
i think you have misunderestemate how serious this camera is. it is not just for people looking to move up from a PNS, this is a real camera, that pros use. pull your head out of your ass. dust is not that serious in SLRs, you can get it out no big deal.
before you post another vid, try some acting leasons, it will help with stage fright, you looked like you were going to shit yourself!
This camera isnt that serious. Pros do not use this camera. A begining "pro" DSLR Is the Canon 5D. If you do happen to change lenses alot, like myself, the sensor cleaning option does come in handy. So, next time you decide to post another bulliten with shit you dont know about, dont do it. =]
WORST REVIEW EVER! Dust shorten' your camera's life??? hello?have you ever heard of blowin' the dust away with a pump??? it takes 30 sec dude!!The only thing that you talk about is DUMB amateur things!!! oaaa big Lcd...oaaa 10MP..this camera has tons of "serious" features:AI SERVO focus,1st & 2nd curtain synchro, bulb mode,in camera noise reduction for long exposures,RAW+jpeg, continuos shooting 3fps or more etc etc
Frogboy I speak 5 languages dumbass..english's not my MT. I don't see you makin' comments in other languages asshole! get a degree b4 u even dare to talk to me!now go back and flip burgers at Mc Donald's

probably about a pound or two with the kit. The box is about the size of a tissue box.

10 MP isn't that important and the life of your camera doesn't shorten with dust. :s Kinda weird review...

HELLO everyone i need help picking a camera. I have limited it down to 4:
Canon Rebel XTi (400 D)
Olmpus Evolt E-510
Nikon D40x
Sony Alpha A100 I need the one with the best image quality, that will last the rest of my life, and that isn't painfully difficult to use.
Thanks

Get a Nikon D80 with the 18-135mm lens, it's a better choice or get a Canon EOS 30D if you have a collection of EF lenses.
