  • Thank you for posting this video, may craig russell's talent and memory live forever,he was one of the best impersonators ever.

  • this is the best performance that Craig Russell

    has ever did1

he will for ever be missed!

  • What are you talking about? Carol Channing is not Black.

  • Well, actually she is - 1/2 anyway - but that's another story altogether. Craig was doing Louis Armstrong's version of 'Hello, Dolly' while dressed as Carol Channing . Craig was able to accurately impersonate both female AND male celebrities to such a degree that it almost boggles the mind. Check out his Louis/Ella "duet" in part II.

  • Is this his real voice or is it a voice dub? Because either way it was SPECTACULAR!

  • his real voice - he was quite a talented vocal artist.

  • I idolized Craig, he has been missed.

  • There were many more before, Craig's time whom died of, Aids and sadly still are!

  • Mm, so he died, didn't know.

  • He was one of the first to die from aids ?

  • Are you asking or stating?

If youre asking, not that it has any relation whatsoever to this clip, Craig passed away in 1990 from a stroke that was AIDS-related - clearly not one of the first as people from all walks of life were felled by AIDS long before this.

If youre stating - whats the point of doing so?

  • we love you Craig where ever you are!
