Very very good detail! I was fumbling on how to take the triggers off from the front of them where they slide off. I did not know about the clips in the back. Great video, saved me from breaking my controller!
Thanks! Couldn't figure out how to remove those triggers. I don't tape anything off, though, the spray paint I use hasn't made buttons stick or anything. And I use five coats of color and five of clear coat. Doing my first gamepad (the 360 controller) now, I've painted three Guitar Hero 2/3 guitars (they're easier but take longer to take apart/put together).
my controller is drying right now but i think ima leave the triggers white it was enough trouble to get the freakin d pad out so i could paint it and i know somthin will go wrong if i start peckin with the trigger lol
when you tape the bottom part i ment that u need to tape the bottom part of the trigger that u remove( you just wanna tape the part of the trigger with the hole so paint doesnt get in the grooves)
so ur talking about the wholes that u put the triggers in the green board. One more thing do u just cover the holes, or u start from the wholes and tape all around?
Thanks!
