As I am a nerd, and also Asian, I need not this video. I merely use trigonometry to calculate vertical and horizontal components of the velocity, 'V' of the throwing knife. I then take into account acceleration, 'a' due to gravity and displacement , 'x' from the position of the target relative to my position.

I use formulas:

- Vsinθ

- Vcosθ

- S = ((u+v)/2)t

- V^2 = u^2 + 2aS

- V = u + at

- S = ut + 1/2at^2

did you know that the knifes velocity is increased when you throw it as soon as the crosshairs show, if you hold it down it loses momentum cuz the guy isnt doing a follow through but a have cocked weak throw which slows its speed

but for a closed system, momentum before = momentum after, and total energy = potential energy stored in his arm + maximum kinetic energy of the knife. Since all potential energy is put into kinetic energy and for kinetic energy to be maximum, the velocity has to be maximum, the knife still travels with the maximum possible velocity.

TL;DR the knife does not slow down.

ENGLISH MAN!!! IM NOT A PHYSICIST! (spell check that) However i do beleive your wrong, though for some reason the distance allways equalls, speed is increased at the earliest point of beginning the throw. Test the theory in rust with a freind as i did and count the totall time it takes to reach the target when you hold for 10 seconds, vs 1 second. For somereason it is in fact slightly faster and even more so with increased distance

i know how to use a throwing knife... one day on mw2 i was in final stand i had my pistol out (low amo) and an enemy started shooting me! i shot him it the head a few times then he died. i ran out of ammo. i pulled out my other gun (i forgot its name) then another guys comes i shoot him and kill him... then the first guys that i killed came back and i had a knife i threw it at his head and won the battle. Then i got revived!

When you say "luck shots" do you mean for beginners? because i feel very comfortable doing shots like that. I wouldn't call them lucks shots.

@NeonShuriken I think he means there is a lower chance of hitting the enemy. For example close range could be a 90% chance, 75% mid-long, long range 50% and the luck shots could be like 30% or less. With skill, it would be alot easier to get those luck shots though.
