I lobe these clips from Steyn. He's factual, reasonable and funny. It's hard to argue against what he says because he doesn't engage in a lot of hyperbole. He's too reasonable and logical, which is I suppose why he's a conservative.

Mark Steyn is a loyalist? I don't believe his family background contains ancestors who were Americans loyal to Britain during the Revolutionary War and immigrated to then British North America thereafter. Perhaps you meant to use the term "Anglo" or "English." Loyalist refers to another group of people. And please inform me as to who in Canada they ruled and beat with sticks? But I digress, the First and Second World Wars had very little impact of Canada or the shaping of global events.

A Canadian is so many different things. They are very American-like in Windsor for example. You get different accents all over the place. Flat, diluted Irish for example, and slight country drawls. I am Canadian, don't feel very American but feel they are allies for sure.

I am from NB, and am currently serving member of the CF so have lived all over this country. I will tell you that English Canada (the majority of, there is never 100% support) supports America and most of its decisions. Its time the french snapped back to reality or separate. I am tired of the world thinking the French speak for me.
