  • Good job on this song. Well done!

  • @Audioproject2 Thank you very much.

  • Nice song, though I didn't care for the stereo effect. It just sounds too unbalanced, especially on headphones.

  • Thanks. I will work on that more before using it again.

  • Good stuff. Any chance you could give us the steps you take to achieve this? 1,2,3 ?

  • I will try putting a cloning how to video. It is a fun effect. Thanks.

  • Great one,Tom.

Did you do the clone effect using green screen? If yes,it looks way better than it looked a couple of months ago. Nice editing, too.

  • Thank, Alex. No green screen here. This is the clone effect. You can do that with your Magix. Right click on the video track and go to Video Size and Position. Choose Cropping. Do the whole video of both characters in one take. Put the videos up on two different tracks and crop the bottom one so the other shows through. Have an upright doorframe or something to use as the dividing line.

  • you've done it again Featureman, great stuff!

  • Thanks. I will try some more cloning things.

  • hey featureman great cover! just wondering how you did this cloning effect. what video editing program do you use?

  • Thanks. I use Magix Pro 14 but they now have a Pro 15 version which does all that the 14 did and more. The basic idea is it is a cropping of a video. One video is cropped and placed over another video. The camera never moves from part one to part two which means I could not correct the errors without starting over. I also recorded the audio of part one and played it back through earphones so I could sing along with myself. The split in the picture is not visible because it is at a vertical line.

  • Who is that handsom gentleman playing with you? He is almost as talented as you. You should write a new version of that song. "I have no time on my hands" Ronnieboy

  • Thanks, Ronnie. That guy just showed up on my doorstep. Now he's taking over. I need a new doorstep.

  • What? No blasto anything? I'm confused! :) Nice job Tom.

  • Ahh, Blasto. I am working on the next great product, Thanks, Liz.

  • The world needs Him now. Where do you get one of those Public Domain Stereo's.lol

  • I want one too. That would be a good name for a donut shop. Public Dough Main. Thanks.

  • wow, this is amazing, 5 star, your like johnny cash, just pure class!

  • Thank you. Johnny was one of my favorites.

  • no problem, he's one of my favourites too, although i never listened when he was alive, maybe i heard a bit when i was living at home, but i stumbled across hurt and am i huge fan

  • Great job and great video, Tom! 5* :)

  • Thanks, Raffa.

  • I love it ! Thanks for posting this up :)

  • Thank you very much.

  • That was a great video! Beautiful song, too. Very nice work, Tom.

  • Thanks, Andy. I had some glitches in this one but I have learned a setup I can use. I will have to get the earphones louder so I can hear what I am playing back but the camera angles might be useful for some future songs.

  • Tom as always excellent job

  • Thanks very much.

  • The clone effect is great in this video. Good job!

  • Thank you.

  • Very nice song. :)

  • Thanks.

  • Very well done!

I always enjoyed this song. At some point I was told what it meant, but before that I just liked it because it's catchy haha.

  • Thanks. I like the singalong quality of the song.

  • Very nice!

  • Thank you.

  • Nice rendition of the song!

  • Thanks.
