they've done some weird things with this show. making it unrealistic, sex driven and to damn soap operaish. and i don't like the portrayal of women and the subliminal content

the portrayal of women is very sexist but that is how it was back then. on those days women were meant to marry the best man they could find and to bear him strong male children. that may sound harsh but that is the way that society worked.

@MoontideJM why, we already know how it is with all the movies and mini series done to portray their stories. This is such a nice way to introduce such history to a younger generation who might also be intrigued with this era of time. Having JRM play the king gives a look at what we all imagine what a king looks and acts like. Its okay they didn't portray him to exactly look like Henry viii but i rather see JRM than some Dom DeLuise looking guy lol : )
