This is not training. The student passed his black belt exam. It was to show the audience that were present that the young man has build his body to withstand blows from a kendo stick. You have to be a life long student and teacher to understand. If you study Karate or any martial arts at that matter just for personal protection and/or fitness, you'll never understand!!

This is shameful!!! The LACK of wisdom in some of these skilled Sensei's is heart wrenching. This man does a lot for his community, BUT; THIS form of training is useless.
