My childhood officially ended when they started calling "Showbiz Pizza" "Chuck E. Cheese's". They replaced the bear with that rat and I was heartbroken.
Hate to say this Pizzacam, they were the same company. they had the same theme song, only "Showbiz Pizza" was replaced with "Chuck E. Cheese's" before the "where A Kid Can Be A Kid" line
Why did they change this commercial? It used to end with "Silly Billy" putting his head up over the side of the table with those alien star antenae things on his head. In this one they cut to his parents wearing them too, but in the original version, they cut to a boy in a wheelchair with a change cup. Silly Billy runs out of Showbiz Pizza but gets caught and put into a van full of wheelchairs.
I remember as a kid wanting to go to a Show Biz Pizza, but my parents never took me because there were none near my home. However I thank god they didnt take me, the pizza at Chuckie Cheese sux.
You gotta love youtube! Showbiz pizza was a part of my childhood!:)

That is the "Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza" 1991 commercial "Cindy" where the song lyrics are:
