  • Beautiful rendition of God Bless America!!!!!

  • Beautiful Jamie!

  • There is a great story about the origins of this song and makes good material for a crowd if you intend to work this into future campaign events

  • Faith in the future....and our founding principles....God bless America!

  • Your life style and beliefs are different from mine but I'm a productive citizen like you I have a family, job, house and pay taxes. Why do I need to live under leader that's going to tell me what's right from wrong? I want some one that's going to focus on the real issues because the world is changing and these people are'nt

  • Religion separates and creates war and doesn't belong in politricks.

  • U guys really like being told what you can or cant do or do you need to be protected from yourselves because you don't know how to make the right choices which is it? It's a sad bummer that you guys look to an author for answers in life. United states of babies is what were becoming it's pathetic.

  • @splitmindgraphix Hmmm...You got me there. It's obvious you've never read a book!

  • Still waiting holy rollers for u guys to defend how church and state is together and how they shouldn't be separated lol

  • @splitmindgraphix Are you proposing that the separation of church and state was for any other purpose than insuring there would never be a government religion?

  • @splitmindgraphix Read Thomas Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptist Association: "I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between church and State."

  • @splitmindgraphix Read Romans 13:1: Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

  • "If this country wasn't built on Judeo Christian beliefs, what was it based on? What religion was most of the founding fathers?"

They were certainly godly men who believed in a supreme being, but not everyone would subscribe to the Apostles' Creed. your four fathers were tax dodging Freemasons and we all know masons can be any religion lol... I do think the Treaty of Tripoli summed that one up for you.

  • @SPLITMINDGRAPHX you had FOUR FATHERS????? WOW! And they all dodged taxes and were Freemasons. Who'd a thunk it???

  • The Founders were students of the European Enlightenment. Half a century after the establishment of the United States, clergymen complained that no president up to that date had been a Christian. In a sermon that was reported in newspapers, Episcopal minister Bird Wilson of Albany, New York, protested in October 1831: "Among all our presidents from Washington downward, not one was a professor of religion, at least not of more than Unitarianism."

  • None of the Founding Fathers were atheists. Most of the Founders were Deists, which is to say they thought the universe had a creator, but that he does not concern himself with the daily lives of humans, and does not directly communicate with humans, either by revelation or by sacred books. They spoke often of God, (Nature's God or the God of Nature), but this was not the God of the bible.

  • "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." John Adams

He said Moral "and" Religious not Moral Religious people .... See I fall under the moral category not the religious :). that's whats wrong with the country people cant interpret for crap anymore and lack commons sense.

come on subz your interpretation skills are better than that.

  • Note 1: The end of the Constitution records the year of its ratification, "the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven." Although, indeed, it uses the word "Lord", it does not refer to Jesus but rather to the dating method. Incredibly, some Christians attempt to use this as justification for a Christian derived Constitution.

  • Last but not least why is it when i post this crap on her website she deletes it instead of backing up her godly opinion.... your god doesn't belong in office making decisions for people plain and simple.

  • it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."

  • The omission of God in the Constitution did not come out of forgetfulness, but rather out of the Founding Fathers purposeful intentions to keep government separate from religion.

  • @SPLITMINDGRAPHX - You do seem to have some rather thoughtful and argumentative replies, but you never really answered my questions.

  • The U.S. government derives from people (not God), as it clearly states in the preamble: "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union...."

  • The United States Constitution serves as the law of the land for America and indicates the intent of our Founding Fathers. The Constitution forms a secular document, and nowhere does it appeal to God, Christianity, Jesus, or any supreme being. (For those who think the date of the Constitution contradicts the last sentence, see note 1 at the end.)

  • @SPLITMINDGRAPHX - I never said the Constitution is about GOD. I said this country was based in Judeo Christian beliefs. That simply means most of the founding fathers who wrote the Constitution were Christians. You don't think their beliefs had influence at all? That would be like saying Bush's religion has no influence on how he handles stem cell research. You can't have it both ways.

  • splitmindgraphix: You seem woefully uneducated...

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." John Adams

Even if you weren't well-educated in school, you have a computer. Use it! (and God bless!)

  • She needs a history lesson our country was not built on a Christian beliefs. What's wrong with these people church and state are seperated

  • @splitmindgraphix - Then why don't you educate me? If this country wasn't built on Judeo Christian beliefs, what was it based on? What religion was most of the founding fathers? Why was GOD mentioned in SO MANY of our historical documents? Why is GOD mentioned in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why is GOD in the Star Spangled Banner (read ALL of the lyrics)? Why is the bible used in court, as well as to swear in most of our government officials? Why is GOD on our currency?

  • @splitmindgraphix - One more thing....Can you show me in our Constitution where it says that church and state should be separated? How about the Bill of Rights? Before you try and tell me "the first amendment", you should read it again. I'll be looking forward to your history lesson.

  • @kmurphey77

    yawn....

  • @SPLITMINDGRAPHX - great history lesson. I wouldn't expect anything less.

  • Can anyone believe that I got a notification from YouTube that this video violates 'Copyright' laws??? God Bless America? Is this Warner/Chappell Music Company (who brought the charges) phishing for royalties???
