where they are only useful for the first 3 or 4 years of their lives and then locked away or destroyed. after this age they become highly unpredictable, and the only way to maintain any semblance of control is through serious discipline (ie. beating,) fear and intimidation.
yes, cute, but leave the wild animals to the wild where they belong. if you wish to be entertained, help to protect their habitat, knowing you did something worthwhile for one of these oh so sweet for the moment, youngsters.

yea, cute for about 5 minutes. it really makes me sick and sad how people treat apes, chimps, orangutans etc...as if they are little baby humans. they are wild animals! as adults, they are aggressive, territorial, dung flinging, poop eating, occasionally violent, highly intelligent ANIMALS. not humans. not cute.
pretending they are anything other, only perpetuates their use in entertainment and as short-lived pets.
