I read somewhere after 90 days the old myspace profile 1.0 will be back again! Can we hope in that or it's not truth? I wrote something incorrect down here in my previous comment and I'll fix this mistake now: I wrote "invitation tabs" but I meant "contact tables" ! I loved that part of myspace but now... I don't have permission for using "contact table" thanks to profile 2.0 So please... if anyone knows something I'll expect his answer to my question on the top! Thanks!

All new MySpace accounts created after April 2009 are defaulted to 2.0 and cannot have the option to switch back.
If you've kept your profile on 2.0 for more than 7 days, you are locked from switching and cannot switch back.
Basically, if your only option is to "Start From Scratch", you're screwed and stuck with 2.0.
Sorry! It sucks, I know. I used to have 1.0 and I tried out 2.0, but kept it for more than 7 days and now I'm stuck with it.

and if you've noticed there's like about 100 people on myspace who are trying to get profile 1.0 back,for some it works.
For some it does'nt. Fuck Tom indeed,same for youtube when useing the BETA layouts.

ATTENTION EVERYONE WHO WANTS A PROFILE 1.0!!!
me and my friend found a way to get it back!! follow these instructions for profile 1.0 :
you have to sign up for a new page,go to the right and find the different profile types.
The easiest are the comedy and film (NOT MUSIC) and once you've selected one of them,you can have a profile 1.0!! which you can edit all your own :)

I wish I could, but the only way to go back to profile 1.0 is by signing up with a comedy or music account.
Don't worry though because I'm sure in a few yrs time myspace will once again change its layouts.

There's no option for "switch back to 1.0" though. Watch it again. It only says "start from scratch" or "cancel", so I'm stuck.
