In the book I was a Doctor at Auschwitz by Dr. Perl she describes a how a woman managed to escape the gas chambers again and again only to be caught and beaten to an unrecognizable state by Dr. Menegele. And in Five Chimneys by Olga Lengyel, the details of the horrible medical experiments are revealed.
I Can't see what Josef Mengele did wrong he really tried to do a difference to the world. he tried to make all people aryan (like us scandinavians who are the only true race) Who cares if a bunch of kid etc. adults die.

Many people miss out the point that very few Germans were animals and did horrible crimes against humanity. Mostly the SS, however the regular German soldiers had no idea about these crimes and they were regular men fighting for their countries just the same as people in the british or Soviet army. This is a very good documentary, but it has some glaring inaccuracies (i.e. that photograph of Mengele seen at the beginning is NOT him).
The main problem with this documentary is that it plays to the legend about Mengele at the time that he was some kind of brilliant super villain; Moriarty to Simon Wiesenthal's Sherlock Holmes. The truth was that Mengele's years as a fugitive were pretty mundane and actually rather lonely.
Gerald Posner's book on Mengele is perhaps the definitive source.
Just think, after watching another documentary on Nazi Germany, entitled 'The Occult Conspiracy', they predicated their vision of a 'Master Race' on Roman Gods. What a vivid imagination.

I did a project on him. i have one of the oldest and rarest documentations of his work at Auschwitz. he came into contact with over 1400 pairs of twins and less than 200 pairs survived. He did needless amputations, injections, surgeries, killed so many children by throwing them into the furnaces or shooting them himself and YES HE HAS BEEN CONVICTED after death.

One theory I've heard that sounds quite likely is that Mengele was spirited away by the Americans at the end of the war. They apparently considered his "work" so valuable he was taken to the US and continued his "research". He allegedly spent some time in London after the war.

My uncle is a doctor (MD). My dad just recently passed away and probably a dozen doctors treated him in his final two months. A doctor's duty is to preserve life and alleviate human suffering. But this sick quack Mengele, convinced some people were inferior to himself, conducted frivolous torture experiments on people. Unfortunately, the good doctor never experienced that tried, true and tested medical procedure called "lethal injection".
No matter how much criticism we lay upon him, he was an extremely intelligent man who believed he was doing the right thing. We are only rejecting his ideologies because of the society we live in today... If any of us were born as his children, we would love and cherish him, and not feel disgusted about his pleasures and experiments. It is a shame that his home town, and the South American locations, tried to protect him. He had a "sadistic personality" disorder and is one of the most vile evil personages of history.
It is also disturbing that there are such people here that try to defend him, defend the Nazis, and belittle the historicity of the Holocaust.

This is a very good documentary, but it has some glaring inaccuracies (i.e. that photograph of Mengele seen at the beginning is NOT him).
The main problem with this documentary is that it plays to the legend about Mengele at the time that he was some kind of brilliant super villain; Moriarty to Simon Wiesenthal's Sherlock Holmes. The truth was that Mengele's years as a fugitive were pretty mundane and actually rather lonely.
Gerald Posner's book on Mengele is perhaps the definitive source.

As for Death I'd say a FiringSquad, but a lot of People say HangThem.Hangings are not as easy as they sound to do correctly.They must be dropped a certain distance, but not too far or their heads come off.Not far enough & You fail to break the neck so they just Strangle toDeath which takes several minutes to achieve.The correct hanging is when they fall to a sudden stop at the end of the Rope,Their neck snaps & they make a quarter turn to the left. I did a project on him. i have one of the oldest and rarest documentations of his work at Auschwitz. he came into contact with over 1400 pairs of twins and less than 200 pairs survived. He did needless amputations, injections, surgeries, killed so many children by throwing them into the furnaces or shooting them himself and YES HE HAS BEEN CONVICTED after death.

Its a known fact that many lower ranking nazis were taken to the USA after the war to continue their work, mainly on weapon systems. Theres a school of thought that says Mengele worked on and developed the birth control pill after the war. Why do you think it impossible that Mengele was used by the US and the UK after the war?

One theory I've heard that sounds quite likely is that Mengele was spirited away by the Americans at the end of the war. They apparently considered his "work" so valuable he was taken to the US and continued his "research". He allegedly spent some time in London after the war.

My uncle is a doctor (MD). My dad just recently passed away and probably a dozen doctors treated him in his final two months. A doctor's duty is to preserve life and alleviate human suffering. But this sick quack Mengele, convinced some people were inferior to himself, conducted frivolous torture experiments on people. It is disturbing that he was never brought to justice. I am grateful to Weisenthal for hounding him all his days....it is little justice but it is something. It is a shame that his home town, and the South American locations, tried to protect him. He had a "sadistic personality" disorder and is one of the most vile evil personages of history.
