Cornell doesn't give scholarships. And your scholarship is before the preposition.

His scholarship to Cornell is an academic scholarship because he's a genius. Ivy League schools cannot give out athletic scholarships.

so im just curious,if somebody got into cornell and they wanted to walk on to the team to vault for them, how high would they need to go?

Well, this year, because of the economy, the team is making a lot more cuts. It really depends on what kind of vaulters we have at the time. You would have to be well over 15' to have a shot, I would say 15'6 would give you a decent chance. If you're really that interested you can find a way to contact Coach Taylor, he'll give you much better information than I can.
